Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Received a very lacklustre docket deal of 750 fb points for $110 spend today. I do have a fair bunch of shopping to do this weekend so will consider stacking it with the 2000 points for $100 promo, but certainly not guaranteed for that level of return.

I decided I would spend $100 at Coles today. Hopefully a one off purchase won't affect my targets too much for future offers. I didn't have any targeted offers for Woolworths this week and all the stuff I wanted were products that I could get at both Woolworths and Coles. I combined a couple of docket deal and coupons so I'm hoping I get around 3000 points for the transaction. I used a combination of flybuys dollars, egiftcards earned from online surveys and an egiftcard purchased at 5% discount as payment methods. This is only around a 20% return (factoring in the discounted egitcard) but better than the 5.5% return I would have gotten if I'd bought the equivalent products at Woolworths.

Still hoping a 4 week promotion or some decent one off targeted offers arrive soon from Flybuys.

Are there publicly available ways to get coles egcs at 5%?

I don't know of an easy way to join up to a group to get the discounted Coles cards. If you are over 50 there is an online seniors club you can join but there is a membership fee so you have to figure out whether the benefits from the club are more than the membership fee. There is also a monthly limit you can spend on cards in this club.

I get my cards via a website called Perks which is connected to a rewards company called Rewards One. I ended up with this membership after buying a car.

Even AGL and Memberadvantage are only 4% as there is a 1% cc fee ( and only Visa/MC available to me)

AGL rewards may be your best 'publicly available' chance of a discount. Sign up if you have an AGL account. 5% discount on Coles gift cards.

In WA unfortunately :(

Yes Mrs Excel has access via her professional association but the CC fee (and very, very long issuance process) turns me off. Was hoping for something as easy as cashrewards' wow EGCs.

Card A received a 4x80 for 15000pt deal. The first under $100 target since the mothers day MC GC promotion.

Card B received a 4x50 for 10000pt deal.

Will stack will another triple point email, triple point docket and triple point coupon.

I thought I'd missed out as I hadn't received an email at the time I read the first post about the current 4 week promotion. About 10 minutes later my email offer arrived. Spend $50 for 4 weeks to get 10,000 points. I should be able to manage that.

I'd like one of those please.

Spend $170 for 4 weeks to get 20,000 points or $100. Yeah nah, not going to happen.

I think there's a bit of competition going on here. Woolworths send a triple points email, then coles send one. Woolworths announce an unrealistic four week for 10k points; coles announce an even more unrealistic one (though we might end up hitting it due to stackability with docket deals and coupon books).

My offer was 15k points for $100 spend over 4 weeks.

I have a $210 for 4 weeks to get 20K points or $100.

Okay, flybuys seems to be learning from Coles here. They are attempting to increase the reward if your target is higher, like Woolworths Rewards are doing.

Percentage wise however, the lower target offers still represent better value.
The $50 target for 10,000 points means that you get back 25% per transaction of reward.
The $210 target for 20,000 points means that you get back 11% per transaction of reward.
The $170 target for 20,000 points means that you get back 14% per transaction of reward.

I wonder if there is an offer out there of $100 for 4 weeks for 20,000 points. That would make the ratio equal.

My offer is $120 target for 15,000

Well my targets are starting to come down because since the return of QFF points to WW my offers there have been much better.
WW 4 weeks spend $110 in multiple shops for 12000 points($120 if I was doing cash back).
Coles 4 weeks spend $110 in one shop for $75 or 15000 points.
Sorry Coles.

Isn't your WW offer only $60?
