Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

My offer is $100 for 2 weeks and 4000 points.

Having spent a small fortune on Christmas food we will struggle with this one

I Received an offer for spend $80 over 2 weeks for 4000 bonus flybuys points.
A more realistic offer than spend $185 over 2 weeks for 6000 Woolworths dollars that I received earlier in the week.;)

$100 in one transaction over 2 weeks for 4,000 also. In reality I will probably hit this with grocery spend; will see what woolworths offers

I signed up a new flybuys account 2 months ago, logged in today & my offer is $40 for each of the 2 weeks, compared to $90 for the other account.

It certainly goes to show how much your weekly spend can influence (control) your FlyBuys spend offers (email offers, docket deals & coupons).

Pays (no pun intended) to spread your shopping around - certainly drives the loyalty balance back towards the consumer :-)

Accidentally found out during a shopping trip a few days ago.

Spent over $60, not thinking of checking emails/activate.

Receipt says congratulations!

Week 1 has been done in spending $60+. Please just activate and choose your option.

I chose points.

Not sure if this is a targeted offer or not.
Received a Coles CC sign up offer: $100 off a shop or 20,000 points. Looking at the Coles CC page, it mentions the $100 off, but not a choice between having that or 20,000 points. (so i guess it's targeted then?)

The offer states that I can choose which CC to apply for, so the no-brainer is to take the no annual fee card, make a single purchase and burn it.

The $100 option T&C states no gift cards can be bought, but the points option T&C doesn't mention that (only cash advance exclusion). So gift cards are presumably OK to buy?

It's a general offer as far as I know.

But why would you want to take this card for just $100 off a shop and take the hit to your credit score. Far better offerings available with bigger bonuses.

I was going to take it just for the 20,000 points, seeing as there is no annual fee and no minimum $ spend. I didn't think about the credit score hit.

If you're prepared to take the hit, have a look at the more generous offers listed here:

Current Credit Card Promotions

Some are paid offers but some are free as well. And most are more generous than the Coles offering.

Couldn't see it mentioned in recent posts, but there is currently 2000 bonus points on offer for purchase of a few different gift cards (the most versatile of which is a $50 EFTPOS card)

$5.95 card activation fee

an easy 2055 flybuys points, plus CC earn on the purchase

Hi mrpasqualee,
was this a targeted offer? I don't think I've seen it :-(
thanks!

It was in the Coles catalogue which ends tomorrow. It has also been mentioned in other threads.

Thanks!
Dammit, I missed that- now to decide whether it's worth driving to my 'local' (23km away...) Coles tomorrow to see whether they have any left.

Is driving 23km worth more than $5 or so. You can only take up this general offer once per flybuys account. It's not like the ones where you could take it up in unlimited amounts. If you happen to need some of the gift cards which don't have activation fees then it might be worth it. Don't just do it for the EFTPOS cards. Remember that whatever amount you spend on cards will increase your next target for the weekly offers.

thanks Rainbowgirl for doing my thinking for me :-) Definitely not! Pity I missed it when I was there on Friday.
