Dr Ralph, did you only spend $2.97 on mandarins?? I reckon that was a wasted opportunity! ;)

I've had something mislabelled before, the points were right but the text was weird.

Product offers for me this week:

10x points - Crumpet rounds
25x points - Nestle Bakers Choice range
250 points - Campbell's Real Stock
750 points - 1kg Grinders coffee beans

Just finished a $50/4 week for 10,000 points which in the end turned out to be 11,468 points.

Actually it was $2.99, so the 297 points is odd in itself. But I am planning on buying more before the offer ends.

Triple points on my biggest shop between Monday and Wednesday this week. Not bad. I'll probably do a small shop during that time so should pick up a couple of extra points with the offer. I'm not doing a big shop at Coles again until I can stack a couple of offers together.

Same triple point offer here.

All the Flybuys Y multiple points (eg. 50x) pts offers come in as 1 regular point (part of the normal FB points for the whole basket) plus Y-1 ppd for the offer, eg. 49x.

Hence, $2.99 spend x 99 equals 297 pts, while the other 2 (or 3 rounded) would be paid for the Coles spend in that shop as a separate line item.

But why does it post as a Microwave Rice Pouch? :)

anyone know with these type of promotions, is it just limited to a one-time 400pt bonus? was thinking whether or not to stock up

call me a bit cynical but unless you buy these for work or without exception.

Whenever I see a get bonus X points for buying this
I just assume the price has been jacked by an amount almost the same as the points value

Don't know about that, compared to woolies it seems about right. The 36pk is for $13 so 0.36 per roll of 180ssheets or 20cents per 100ssheets

woolies right now has $3.5 for 8 rolls so 0.44 per roll of 180ssheets or 24cents per 100ssheets

400 flybuy pts is like $2 flybuy dollars or if transferred to eithad/velocity would be worth differently

5% wish giftcard would bring it to 22.8cents per 100ssheets.

Either way you are ahead.
I'm just thinking whether or not it would be better buying the cheapest quilton rolls from coles to make use of multiple 400pts bonus'.

Cheapest roll is $4 for the 4ply

Yes, I got this one as well.

500 points for $50 spend before Sunday.

I don't really need that much so I don't think I will. This weeks docket deal was triple points which doesn't sweeten the deal enough. If the docket deal had been another 500 points for $50 I might have considered it. 1000 points means at least a 10% discount. I think I'll just keep using the stockpile which I built up from the Coles and Woolworths offers and just get the fresh products and a few half price specials, like Cadbury Chocolate. I'm guessing it will be somewhere under $30 at Coles this week.

For the small group of members who got the current round of coupons, What week are we up to? I've lost track since not getting any coupons. I really hope the next round of coupons is more generous.

Funny you mention that. I have seen many times where the you have a bonus points offer on an item that is available for ~10 days or so actually be on sale on the second week of the offer. It pays to check ahead and not just rush into purchasing something just because of a bonus points offer.

In most (but not all) cases, it is just substituting what would be a discount (in this case $2) with a lump of points. Sometimes, there is a bit of both. Either way, it is probably the manufacturer paying for it.

I've had cases where the bonus points value exceeds the cost of the item....

I haven't quite managed that but several times the bonus points offer has coincided with the item being on special and the offer has been redeemable multiple times. Buying 4 * small yogurt packs for a net cost of 10c and loaves of Abbotts bread for 25c each come to mind. Best offer was only redeemable once but gave me a loaf of Abbotts pumpkin bread at a net cost of 0c.
