Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I got spend $120 for 2000 FB points...may have to pass as I have nothing left to buy by Sunday! Also got 2000 Woolworths poibts for spending $40 at First Choice liquor....may let that one through to the keeper as well ;)

Save 10c on any fuel purchase at Shell Coles Express (can be used multiple times).

2000 points for spending $70 at Coles.

Oh yes, I got the 10 cents petrol voucher as well and managed to use it before the price went up in Melbourne.

The offers this week are rather unusual. Normally after a 4 week promotion the offers the following week are just triple points.

I'm guessing the bulk offers this week compensate for the fact that all the docket deals lately have been triple points rather than triple points alternating with bulk points.

10 cents off at coles express. Guess what? Price went up 30 cents at my local coles express.

Went to a BP and filled up. Bonus 250 velocity points. Oh well better paying 114.9 then 144.9 (with discount 130.9).

I got 1000 points for $50 spend, which I did today, and used a triple points docket offer (I've received these each week for the past 4 weeks and have another one valid until 3 October - no triple points offer on this week's docket though).

Also received the 10c litre off but given that Coles Express has become one of the most expensive fuel retailers in our area over the last couple of years, especially for PULP (which I have to use in my car), I don't tend to go there. However we are on the downward trend of the regular weekly fuel cycle in Perth, Sundays/Mondays are usually the cheapest days, so will keep an eye on Coles Express prices this week to see whether I can use this offer. Also have the 250 points Velocity offer for BP, but BP tends be as bad as Coles Express for the most expensive fuel prices, so rarely ever go there either!

BP and Coles Express are usually my last resort, as most are more expensive then WW Caltex and independents unless I get a good offer. However in Melbourne the petrol cycle has become ridiculous, blowing out to a 30-40 difference between the peak and low.

Even at the low point, most times the are selling fuel above the wholesale price.

Perth is the same, and our "low" prices seem to be creeping up as well. I filled up on Monday at a local WW Petrol, 126.9 for Premium 95 which isn't great, but next day it was 154.9.

Fuelwatch can be handy. 126.9 was a couple of cents above the norm on Monday just gone. I don't bother with places such as WW Mirrabooka when they are super cheap due to wasting time in line, but have found places like Puma good with their RAC discount. Coles Express (apart from a select few locations i.e Duncraig) don't seem interested in trying to match the cheapest price any longer.

Yes, I have the daily subscription for Fuelwatch and watch the pricing like a hawk LOL. The only reason I went to WW Petrol on Monday was because I had a 1200 bonus points offer for buying $30 of fuel and needed to go to a Post Office as well, so dropped into WW Kingsway on the way home from work - and as you said, that day it was only a couple of cents over which is neither here nor there, so worked out well :). I find the Greenwood WW Petrol on Wanneroo Road, although often one of the cheapest outlets, is usually an absolutely debacle to get in and out of, whereas the Kingsway one - although a lot smaller - is often much the same price, or only a few cents difference and is much quieter and it's less than 1km up the road.

Otherwise, I quite often go to Puma. As you said, the RAC discount makes their prices quite competitive. Coles Express prices are just ridiculous these days, and after a couple of abortive attempts trying to get fuel at Duncraig in the past (ridiculous wait times, especially as not all pumps have Premium 95), I even don't bother going over there.

I find this one to be very useful for petrol prices...

Petrol Spy - Fuel Prices & Fuel Watch in Australia

Amazing the difference in pricing ALWAYS from south of Sydney Airport to North! Can be 25 cents per litre or more at times AND for weeks at a time. Must need a passport to go there....

I managed to make the 2x $200 spend for 19,000 points - just. Good thing I needed a new kettle and sandwich maker to get me over the line. And I don't think I will need to buy toilet paper for a while either.

Week 1 ($205) I combined the shop with a 4,000 point for $200 spend offer, and week 2 ($210) was combined with docket 3x offer, and email 5x if I transfer 2,000 points to VA.

So - 205 + 19k + 4k, and 210 + 420 + 840 all up is 24,675 points or $123 in discounts. A smidgen under 30%. :)

I would struggle to do it again in a hurry, though.

I keep getting targeted promos from flybuys, one I've got today is "50x bonus points" when I purchase from the MAGGI dry recipe range.

What isn't clear reading the T&Cs is whether the 50x points apply to my whole shop or just 50x points on that item? Can anyone clarify?

It is 50 x points just on that range. We're sorry it wasn't more clear.

Thanks Rainbowgirl, that's extremely helpful! It's just unfortunate that the first offer I receive happens when I'm away LOL. I'll activate it anyway and see what happens. I'm visiting Dad at the moment so probably could have used this spend to buy some stuff for him, but the nearest Coles store is about 70km away, they only have WW and IGA as their local supermarkets down here.
Yes activate it.I have on 2-3 occasions activated a 2 week offer, missed the first week and the first day of the new week get a spend X and get half the bonus.
