Received offer of 1,000 bonus points for $50 spend in next 3 days at a relatively new Coles store near home in Sydney.

My offer was 1,000 bonus points for a $40 spend Wednesday-Friday. The email mentions a nearby store that's been around for years but I think that's only because somewhere along the way I've nominated it as my local store. According to the T+Cs, the offer's valid at any Coles supermarket.

Wasn't impressed so did not activate it, but then I received a follow-up offer of 2000 points if I spend $80 at Belconen Coles in the next 72 hours. It was enough to convince me to make the trip out north.

Just tried (at 1.24am Tuesday) to activate an offer of Spend $120 at Coles by Tuesday 27 March to receive 2000 points.

Caption comes up that offer had closed. Didn't understand I had to activate on a day prior to the offer closing.
