Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

So I’ve completed my Week 1/4 on the current promo (for me $150/week) for 20K bonus points (week 1 ends on Sunday 7th).

I shopped this morning ($15) and then just got this by email(plus I now notice the wording on the bottom of the receipt - I was distracted by my kids)

Think I’ll give this a wide berth as it will conflict - unless I do the shop for this on Monday or Tuesday next week to try and piggyback it with Week 2/4.

What’s the consensus opinion?

You can have mine.

Spend $190/week in one shop over 4 weeks for 10,000 bonus points. Seriously? I spent $4.56 today.
And on top of the 4 week offer hot off the presses there are another 4,000 bonus points on offer for $200 spend in 1 transaction this week. Flybuys obviously trying to turn me into a $200/week shopper? Shopped at Woolworths this week.

Both emails deleted. Wife now has Flybuys account although not linked to mine. See how the offers go there.

The $200 shop for 4,000 points isn't targeted.

And without spending anything at Coles new offer of 9,200 bonus points for $230 spend in one shop.

It's not going to happen in multiple shops either. Better not to offer anything rather than this rubbish.

I struggle once they go over $80 for one spend, prefer the $50 targets. Once got a $150 which is silly based on my history, $230 would be waste of an email.

I've never spent anywhere near that amount. They went up to $230, down to $200, $190 and $230 again. I don't spend anything. For some unknown reason they continue with high spend targets. You'd think they'd revise the spend target down accordingly by now. But nope.

Week 2 of 4 shopping done - $195 so nicely over my $150 target (but I want them to know that $200 is too much) and had some nice piggy back offers as well. Also get another 50 points for completing the survey. Hope everybody else is scoring as well:

Booster vouchers have been appearing over the last 12 hours or so. After missing out last time, finally got some this time

Mine we so poor last time I only used about 10% of them. Unlikely to get them this time around I think.

Interesting, I just opened the Flybuys App and mine are there. They have increased my spend to $70 for my bonus 500 points (up from $50 previously) and they put in a couple of 50x point offers for items that I specifically bought on Saturday (non-normal purchases). Okay, will I play their game, or my own ;)....

The specific item ones were definitely improved from the last go round for me.

Sadly, their dollar targets are in the cray cray range for me - $120 a shop? No thanks - there is only two of us, and we get our meat and vegies elsewhere. Come back to me when it's below 60 again.

$50 spend per week x 4 weeks = 10,000 bonus points is back for me.

25% return on spend is absolutely brilliant!

The coupons have reduced spend target to $140 but still more than double what I usually spend.

Email offer of 3,000 bonus points for $200 spend. Is this a general offer again? Less points than last time and not appealing at all.

Intetesting that I've setup account for wife but not received any offers yet.

Flybuys tend to take a couple of weeks to send out offers to new accounts. They generally wait to see what the average spend on the account is first.

Yes let's wait and see. We spent just on $60 at Woolworths last night which is pretty much our weekly spend. May spend a few $ on wifes Flybuys account.

Our coupons were $50 for 500 points plus some triple points coupons. I might be able to use some of the product and store based coupons.

Damn, I’m going to miss out on my 4 week offer again - forgot we were going away this weekend :(. Oh well, I hope they give me some consolidation offer.
