Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

My last offer was 4X 100 for 10000 points
I have given up on these Coles offers as my shopping habits are more 2 X $50 spends a week .... and the $100 needs to be in 1 shop

Wollies offers are similar (latest was 4 x $80 for 10000) but the $80 spend can be over multiple shops ( 40+20+20) in the same week .

If coles moved to a weekly tally .. I would be more attracted by their promotions.

5k for $180 x 4 is too little, 10k is a better offer.
If you play the game, ie go to Coles and tap FB for a while, (OP, you can still do this for next Christmas), then you don't tap, ie, you go to Woolworths, the offers you get from Coles will go up quite a lot.
Its a game between the 2, play with it.
I think Woolworths has one for 2k for $50 x 2 in my offer list in email.
Only good thing, about FB is not so much the 15% bonus FB - Velocity bonus, is the earning of VA SC at Coles, which Woolworths does not have.
Also Woolworths does not give out points on mobile phone recharges.
And yes, I do realise that there is the specific FB subbranch of the website.

Mine is $50 p/w for 4 weeks. Probably because I have dropped my online ordering significantly following repeated delivery stuff-ups.

For those like me who shopped recently at First Choice and Liquorland, a data point - just checked the App and they’re in:

Nice to be finally climbing up the points ladder again - might get to 6K by the end of November for the bonus 15% VFF haul as well

Shopping yesterday was on the last day of several bonus point offers ($70 for 500 on the App and Week 1/4 of my $160/week for 20K.

Scored 3 or 4 bonus point offers as well for items so needed to buy.

Also got the 1K points bonus for spending $50 by Tuesday. Pity I’m in PER otherwise the shop needed for work would have met that target nicely.

Just out of interest, because I don't really understand the gift card thing... did that still end up being worth it when you average everything out over the course of (say) a year?

Thoroughly worth it and now wife has account with offers between $50-$70/week it's back to normal.

But one thing I don't understand is the stupid algorithm used to determine spend targets. I've not used my card for ages yet the spend target hardly changes and stays very high even though gift card spend is not included in achieving a spend target.

You probably need to do what I did - trick it with some low spending. If it continues to have your last spend as the high water mark, then it may not reduce the spend hurdle.

Another offer of 3,000 bonus points for $260 spend.

I may just spend a few cents this weekend. A grape or 2?

A new offer of 11,600 bonus points for $290 spend.

Not a bad return but how has spend target increased by $30 when I'm not spending anything, even gift cards.

Completed week #3 of $120 x 4 weeks for 15,000 points.

Only achievable as I buying stuff (water, cokes ect) for an office project.

Wife and I both received offer of 5x points on loose Truss tomatoes which were $3/kg yesterday so I bought 2kg at half price.

I got buy the invisible zinc sheer defence for 1700 bonus points. With summer coming and the product being $17.50, I'll take the offer, thanks.
