Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

For you, probably a little too high - haven't known you to go for anything above $50.

It's always intriguing to know how the algorithm will react to non-use of offers. Will the bonus points go up or down. Will the spend hurdle go up or down. They are trying to find each of our buying trigger.

Wife 2,400 bonus points for $60 spend.

Think will let this one through.
Offer not taken up and it has stayed at 2,400 bonus points for $60 spend for this week too.

Not bad but won't need anything for a while.

I have a spend $130 for 2000 points offer ending today which also coincides with the new one today of spend $130 for 2000 points starting tomorrow for 4 days.

So they have increased my spend required by $10 over the last ones I participated in.
Time to start spending less each week on groceries to hopefully get the spend target reduced.

New offer for same points (2000) and spend decreased to $120.
I did not activate any of them and will not be.

I didn’t use the previous $160 for 2,500 bonus points either.

My new offer was $150 for 2,500.

Jury still out as to whether it will get a run.

I have just received a targeted Liqourland offer :

Spend $50 over 3 weeks, receive 10,000 bonus flybys points ( Value = $50)

Equates to a 33% return in spend.

Whilst Lady Cool Cat has received an even better targeted Liquorland offer :

Spend $40 each week over 3 Weeks, receive 10,000 bonus flybys points ( Value = $50)

Equates to a 41% return in spend.

It’s fair to say we’ll probably be utilising both offers. ;)

We received a couple of similar offers, but the points are to be credited "by 06 Jan 2019".

So not interested due to that falling after the Velocity>Krisflyer devaluation.

The 4 week Flybuys/Coles offers are out again.
We got $50 target for 10,000 points.
It will be a nice little Christmas present.

I have noted that previous Liquorland bonus point offers are hopelessly slow at posting so the pending delay in the bonus points posting doesn’t surprise me.

I have no plans to convert flybys into velocity points, but rather utilise the points for $$$ off accommodation or QF flights via the flybys travel portal.

And sometimes fail to post at all. Needs to be watched very carefully. One of the reasons that I don't use these offers from Liquorland anymore.

I received a similar Liquorland offer a while back and its been close to 2 months at the very least and I haven't yet seen the 10k points come through. I often wonder why Coles and Coles Express come through within 24 hours and even eBay purchases yet some can take ages! I'm also chasing up my AGL points. Was meant to get 20k points but ended up with 10k so not sure where the others went.

Today's offer was $180 x 4 weeks for the 10k which will be achievable as usual. They seem to have settled with this amount. Does flybuys usually have any Black Friday promos? I'm hoping for some bonus points offer through eBay though won't hold my breath. 20 points per $ would be nice!

I've heard of a few other cases where the wrong amount of AGL bonus points turned up. You'll need to chase it up with flybuys with your preferred contact method and whatever evidence you have. Good luck.

$70 a week/4 weeks/10,000 points.

Good to see the spend figure starting to come down again....they certainly were setting me some stretch targets at one point.

Wifes offer of 10,000 bonus points for $50 spend x 4 weeks.

My ridiculous offer of 20,000 bonus points for $280 spend x 4 weeks. Yeah right.

Same offer here.

My sister tells me her 10k 4 week spend target was $160 per week so much happier I got $70 but much prefer my old $50 target :)

Yet another outstanding offer from Coles:

Spend $100 or more in one Transaction, until Tuesday 20th November -receive a bonus of 4000 bonus flybys points. (Ie: $20 in value )

On top of this, I already have an active triple points offer this week from Coles on my largest shop, and as a “flybys max” trial member I earn 10 flybys points per dollar on all fresh meat and produce spend.

Hello Woolies, are you awake and want to stop customers drifting over to the competition? ;)
