Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

We have three family accounts:
10k points OR $50 off - spend $50 in ONE shop each week for 4 weeks
10k points - spend $60 in one OR multiple shops each week for 4 weeks
10k points - spend $80 in one OR multiple shops each week for 4 weeks

I didn’t pick up on the multiple spends during the week adding up to the weekly target. That’s new. Following g he part of my offer with the key word I think being transactions.

Yes, those exclusions are typical for most of the promotions I get - ciggies, alcohol, cards

The multiple shops was relatively new

$280 per week for 10,000 bonus points. Dreamin.

This shows how much buying the gift cards from Coles impacts on things as I spend less than $20 a week on groceries, the rest on gift cards which attract bonus offers.

Best keep some accounts Gift Card free (or set up some new ones)!! :)

Only 15% offered to me.

My email had 15%, but when you go to the app it says up to 20% as drross aludes. It is 20% if transferring 100k and 15% anything lower.

Also,

I received offers of 4 accounts for the 10k offer over 4 weeks. One at $50 spend, 2 at $60 and 1 at $100. The others missed out.

The one at $100 however is offering a stacked $90 spend for 2k points (only overlapping tomorrow). Be good if that happened each week, but doubtful. Will be going the $50 spend target. Unlikely to spend consistently $110 each week to run 2 offers.

Mine is $50 in one or more shops per week for 10k points
I received a similar offer, with the option of either 10k points or $50 off in a single shop.

Over the past few weeks I've received a couple of offers valid for just a few days - Spend $60 for 1000 points Thursday-Sunday etc. However, this is the first multiple week offer I've received in months. I can't remember when the last one was but it was definitely before COVID-19 lockdown.

In Victoria (and Tas), looks like Frozen goods will contribute little to minimum spends with limits brought in.

got interesting one today.

spend $160 x 4 weeks for 10,000 points, or
spend $210 x 4 weeks for 20,000 points

neither one remotely achievable

I got a $60 x4week for 10k points which is great considering we usually spend $1.5k monthly at Coles.

Also received an offer of 20% bonus velocity points with an unlimited transfer rate for the month of July. I’ve got ~400k flybuys points and most definitely will not be transferring them considering there is still a high chance they’ll be dissolved into nothing. I think it’s actually quite disgusting that an offer like this would come through at a time like this.

$290 in one shop each week for 4 weeks = 10,000 points for MrsNoName

$300 in one shop each week for 4 weeks = 10,000 points for me.

They must think we’re hosting one of the interstate football teams with spend criteria like that. Agree re: gift card spend affecting this. Time for a new account soon I think.

All this year we have had $120 for 4 weeks for 10000 points and all year we have refused to activate it.

Has anyone noticed a delay in the processing of Coles transactions? Usually my points post the day after the shop but I've now got at least 6 separate transactions over the last few days that haven't come through.

I haven't noticed that, but over the past 4 months, I've seen a significant increase in the failure of First Choice Liquor promotion payments requiring many follow ups (i.e following up 7+ weeks after purchase). This has happened on multiple accounts on a number of occasions. Spreadsheets are a necessity here..

Do you take screenshots - I did one with First Choice the other day and have no record of the fact I was supposed to get 2000 bonus points

I have began resorting to that now. I keep all the emails with the offers so on the call I can state the offer type and code used. I've been refunded all the bonus points but only when I give concise information about the purchase time, order number and promotion code. Something I shouldn't have to do but lately doing a bit.

Interesting observation. I looked a bit closer at the offers. WOW generally always say spend say x dollars in as many shops each week to earn y points. Coles always say spend x dollars in one shop each week to earn y points.

With my offers above, one of the account that received the $60 spend was allowed to be spent in multiple shops each week, the other offers were all "one shop per week". This is the first time I've seen it from Coles.
