Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Gee that's an 80% return, never seen this high offer.

I've ceased receiving the $50 for 2k, they now want $100 spend for the 2k.
BWS continue with ordinary offers, no thanks, not willing to tap Aldi so may aswell do FebFast.
Maths a bit out?

Dude. TUN blue @ Dan Murphy's @ $28/30 cans. Buy with 5% off DM giftcard = $26.60/30 cans. Take back the aluminium cans for a further $3 back (10c x 30 cans) = $23.60 for 30 cans (only 330ml - airline size beer), but what the hell?

$23.60 for 30 cans of beer these days has got to be unbeatable anywhere. Not even ALDI comes close to that. Sure, TUN blue is not gonna set anybody's trousers on fire, but it looks like beer, it smells like beer, it froths up like beer and if you close your eyes, it even passably tastes like beer.

I'm doing this rather than pay Joshy his ridiculous twice yearly alcohol indexed taxation.

I don't really like TUN blue at all, so even if it is free I'd pass. Also in Vic no can return.

A couple Flybuys offers that have arrived over the past couple of weeks/months, that I haven't shared yet:

That's a thumbs down as is this beauty:

This one, however, gets a thumbs up - but how can I optimize my spend there? Does anyone know if Coles Express slaps reduced price stickers on their food like 7-Eleven? 🤔

Similar forgetable offers received with either 2,000 or 2,700 points for increasing spend by $20/wk.

Coles' 1st quarter earnings are looking pretty poor from our household if this keeps up, meanwhile WW & Aldi are booming!

Received 2,000 points for $120 spend. Last offers had $70 spend targets so raised it up a bit.

I'm just torn between Coles and Woolies.

Woolies Rewards is better in service and IT and I rarely have to chase up. Plus they offer online chat.

Flybuys gives me better offers generally, gives me Velocity points, and I prefer the bread and meat at Coles. If only someone from AFF could interview the head of Flybuys (Loyalty Pacific) and find out why they are having so many problems with their missing points and put pressure on them to fix the problems...

+ 25 agrees

I couldn't use the FB webiste at all on Firefox but is fine on Edge. It's a PITA trying to remember which site like what browser.....

And it looks like there's an offer for First Choice on Cashrewards 6-11pm tonight. Again handy for those completing the current two-weeker this week.

My experience is actually quite different. Woolies often has the more lucrative offers (e.g. earn 6000 points by spending $30 in week 1, $40 in week 2 and $50 in week 3 meanwhile all the Coles offers for a couple thousand points expect me to spend over a hundred for several weeks). I will agree that Woolies is easier to chase down for points although FlyBuys does have an email address you can use if you just want to jot off a quick message about missing points and aren't in a rush for points to appear in your account. In terms of Coles vs Woolies, Coles tends to have a better selection of ready made food (e.g. "fresh" pizzas and Youfoodz selection). However, for me the clincher is the free home delivery from Woolies which I get since I'm in a high risk group.

The other factor in why I prefer EDR over FB is that the multi week offers are generally to be done in one or more shops, the boosters are way better targeted than FB and often things we would buy even when not on special as well as the points credited very quickly. Sometimes before I have left the store.

Received $170x4 for 10k points on my primary account that we spend ~$1000 a month on and in the second hardly used account I got $180x4 for 10k points! Maybe the last Apple gift card promo triggered the higher spend?

And just after posting that I preferred EDR came my offer of a $50 spend for 4 weeks for 10000 points plus an extra 1000 points per week if $10 of that was on Coles branded products.
This one we can do.
