Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

got a 5200pts for $130 spend week after very similar.

Having a solid run with 20% returns.

Have to note my last week offer of 4400pts never came thru, 1st time I had to call FB's today.
Thought here we go, what am I going to have to go thru to get this sorted as read upthread that can be a hassle.
Anyway done & dusted with a minute or so, marvellous just as I've had to call EDR a few times in past & they've been a breeze to sort any issue out also.

Very pleasant dealing with FB's & EDR with any issue via phone, wish all companies dealt with issues so efficiently.

Having just finished a spend $60 for 3 weeks for 6k promotion I have been hit with a collect 3.5k points for a trivial $300 spend in one transaction. I think the algorithm has been drinking too much cool aid.

New 4 week promotion either $120 x 4 for 10,000 points or $170 x 4 for 20,000 points.

That’s a pass. I’m going to ghost Flybuys for a few weeks and see it it gets more reasonable.

Same promotion offered to this Kangaroo.

That 20,000 bonus point offer is really tempting but I struggle to hit $170 in one week's shop (and that's if I start stocking up on things like detergent). Besides that, I see Woolies tends to be buttering my bread a bit better now with EDR bonus offers than Coles and Flybuys are.

Passed on previous 3 week spends with increasing bonus points per week & today across our family we have received 4 x $50 spend/wk for 4 weeks get 10K.

Looks like over the next 5 weekends our spend will be $50, $50, $100, $100 & $100 (OK, they will probably be between $50 and $51 per account).

Meanwhile passed on spend $80 (last Friday) get 3,200 points & on two other family accounts spend $70 get 2,800 points - lucky that.

1x spend $50 each week for 4 weeks = 10,000pts
1x spend $130 each week for 4 weeks = 20,000pts

We do our main shop at Aldi so the $130 offer is out, even with it being 20,000pts. Should be able to find enough half price specials to do the $50 offer though.

After a month of shopping at Woolies and ignoring Coles we got 4 x $50 spend/wk for 4 weeks get 10K on both accounts.

Collect 2,000 bonus points
Spend $80 in one transaction at Coles Richmond Traders!

Never shopped at that location, it might be a new Coles.

Seems this offer also offers an additional 1,000pts each week if you spend $10 on coles branded products. Will be adding these to the shop.

Having rarely used one of the accounts, finally got a 4 x $50 for 10,000 points, plus an overlap offer of 1000 points on $50 spend, plus 5x on meat and fresh produce and bakery and deli/seafood. This is more like it!

Check the t&c. I doubt the offer is location specific and can be used at any store.

Well my cat got her first Flybuy promotion $50 x 4 weeks for 10,000 points. I guess I should get her some extra cat treats 😎

Both offers look really tempting, although sadly this wasn't the offer given to this Kangaroo! Looks like I'll need to stick with Woolies for some time until Coles smartens up (or open a new account for my imaginary friend 😂)

Got a 4 weeker $100 for 10k.
1k extra per week for online order & double up this week for $120 spend for 2k
With usual 5x for this n that.

So 16k points for $420 spend.
20% min with possible more to come over the weeks.

Thanks FB.

Curious timing indeed!

Looking back (pre-Covid) it turned out that most of the 10K offers happened towards the end of a calendar quarter. Just a coincidence that ties in with the cut off for reporting their quarterly financials.

Which makes this round of 10K offers all the more interesting being right at the start of the quarter. Let's see what the March Qtr financials look like...

Maybe we will get 2 lots of 10K (effectively) 5 week(end) offers this quarter?

After ignoring a $80 for 2,000 points promotion (didn’t suit for days offered), Flybuys now offered $110 for 2,000 points :(

I’ve barely spend anything with them in last few weeks, nothing over $35 in one transaction so no idea why the big hurdle jump increase.

I am in the same situation, ignored a few $70 deals and now getting $80. I wonder if they're using 'same time last year' data to set the targets?

That would make sense, maybe a combination of both recent and last year. Around ANZAC Day I did a very big spend
