Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Just completed 2 x 10,000 point for 4 weeks x $60 spends on my Flybuy and my cats Flybuy card. Last spend on my account used $50 bonus from the other account. Don’t often get same spend offer on both accounts at the same time :)

We are getting 2 spend $60 for 2000 points per week for the last 5 weeks. One for some reason was 2400 points.

You successfully put your cat's name of the family's FB card?

Maybe what we do need is a new strategy.
Ie, the trick is to keep plodding along, activate any offers, but buy from Coles for under the required amount.
I keep plodding along, activate for high amounts, and buy under.
Few days ago, or was it earlier on today, got a bonus offer, **only need to spend $60 for 2000 FB points**!
And only for one transaction, usually, they want $60 in 2/3/4 times, ie, per week over 4 weeks.
Lowest need to spend amount I have seen!
Edit:
Cayote25: Registered another ‘family’ member for an additional account and yes her account mostly buys cat food lol
Now that is certainly laugh out loud, that/this is the best way to trace and see how far they will go to track you!
1000/1000, well worth the idea.
Some would say meh, but I say, good (reverse psychology)...

Same offers here.

Has anyone else noticed that the “Spend X at coles get Y points” offers which often run back to back seem to work the day before they start? Which enables doubling up. This has happened for me several times.

For example I had:

  • Spend $50 get 1,000pts running from Sunday to Tuesday (yesterday)
  • Spend $60 get 2,000pts which came through yesterday morning to run from Today until Friday.
  • I spent $60 at coles yesterday afternoon.
  • Today I received both lots of bonus points in one 3,000pt lot
As I said, this has happened multiple times previously but only just clicked. Suggest doing the shops for these offers on the last day one one/day before the next to double up.

@NoName yep that happens quite a lot and has been for quite a while too. Last week I had back to back "spend $180 get 3000pts" offers that overlapped, ie First offer of Tue-Fri, then an offer for Thu-Sun (I think). Did the shop on Friday and I got the points as one 6000pt lot.

The days you mention overlap with the Friday appearing in both. I’m talking about when they run consecutively - ie no overlapping. In my example I shopped on Tuesday which was the day before the next offer began.

If this has always happened that they give points for shops prior to the start of an offer then I guess I’m late to the party. 😂

I've never tried it, just didn't think it would pass.

I've more often than not a 'play by the rules' kinda points earner.

I have found most of the time it works. So a Tue-Fri offer, and a Sat-Mon offer will often both fire on a Friday shop.

I've got the wrong days in my post sorry. Here are the dates from the emails:

Offer valid in-store or online for orders placed and delivered or collected between Wed 22 Feb and Fri 24 Feb 2023.
and
Offer valid in-store or online for orders placed and delivered or collected between Sat 25 Feb and Tue 28 Feb 2023.

So there's no overlap supposedly but they do start the day before as you say, which creates an overlap. I did the shop on the Friday. Both offers were active in the app.

interesting, now I have to try this next time, buy the day before the 2nd offer to hit both.

This has been my experience too. The three day offers always seem to activate a day earlier than the ts&cs officially say. So yeah, you can double up when you get consecutive ones, if you shop on the last day of the first one.

I always shop on the last day of the offer and have boosted the next offer but never doubled up for me.

It has always worked for me. I mentioned earlier (in another thread) in Jan I had a double up which also coincided with week 2 of 2 of a third offer. One $280 shop gave me 10k, 5k and half of 9k. Nothing that good before or since though.
