Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Two offers across my two accounts;
- $50 x 4 weeks 10,000 points
- $60 x 4 weeks 10,000 points

Love how often Coles are doing their 4 week 10000 promotions. It has defiantly increased in frequency over the past year.
- $70 x 4 weeks 10,000 points
- $60 x 4 weeks 10,000 points

this is the 2nd time its been 70 & 60 for my 2 accounts. was previously 50/40 and kept rising 10 every 3 or so cycles. I'm going to not use the FB card which has the $70 over the next 4 weeks to try lower the spend for future 4 week shops.

$130 x 4 weeks 10,000 points
same offer as an extra if
$180 x 4 weeks 20,000 points.

was $170 few weeks back for 20k which we achieved, but will pass this time as in 2nd week of a $70 4 weeker at woolies for 6.5k points.

4*60 for both of us. Might go the woolworths offer (even though it's up at 105) to bolster the qf points

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I've received an offer to spend $90 for 2000 points at Coles Carindale (Brisbane).

Is it actually store specific? I can't see anywhere in the T&Cs that make it only apply to that store, and it does say you can use it online.

Not a bad offer but I'd prefer to go to a local Gold Coast store.

A store specific offer would be unusual. You'd need to read all of the term very carefully.

It's not the first I've received.

That (and the email subject) is the only reference to Carindale. I did a text search on the email. It doesn't appear in the conditions (below)

Got 4 x $60 over 4 weeks, but it's the second week in a row where I've also got spend $70, get 2000 points offer. With luck, I'll get 18,000 points (so 9000 Velocity points) for a $280 spend. :)

Two new offers;
Account 1 - $50 for 1,000 points
Account 2 - $70 for 2,800 points

Saturday to Tuesday. Overlaps with the 4 week promotions.

The Flybuys app is playing up on me. Last 2 lots of bonus points haven't posted and all my activity has disappeared. just you have had no activity recently there.
I always take screenshots of activated offers and have fired off a message to Flybuys support.
But have received another offer for 2000 points for $90 spend over the weekend.

Just be aware that if you are doing family transfers of points and SC with FB & VFF, even with family FB & VFF points and SC reset and turned on the VFF website, (contributor), of family transfers, it seems that its still no go.
My mum who does not fly anymore (old now), I put the FB to her, as she buys a lot of things.
But the points seem to stick with her, and she also get a lot of FB and VFF offers, as for me, whose main activity on the VFF website IS flying, I don't get anything.
She got on, spend $100 in one transaction, no specific store mentioned, and get 2000 FB points.
She has an offer of 4000 VFF points and SC for any VAi flights, nothing like that has appeared in my email inbox.
They are "probably" targetted offers to "make" people act a certain way, or buy from a specific store, or to buy specific products, maybe its "data marketing at its best".

Got the same offer. When do you bail out, after the 1st month paid renewal of $4?

Has anyone else noticed that the “Spend X at coles get Y points” offers which often run back to back seem to work the day before they start? Which enables doubling up. This has happened for me several times.

For example I had:

  • Spend $50 get 1,000pts running from Sunday to Tuesday (yesterday)
  • Spend $60 get 2,000pts which came through yesterday morning to run from Today until Friday.
  • I spent $60 at coles yesterday afternoon.
  • Today I received both lots of bonus points in one 3,000pt lot
As I said, this has happened multiple times previously but only just clicked. Suggest doing the shops for these offers on the last day one one/day before the next to double up.
Yes it does, been like that for a while. One time I forgot that all the points have landed earlier than expected and did another shop during the second offer. Rookie error.
