Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Can someone tell me what the current voucher sheet says on the Telstra $30 SIM for $15 voucher?

I know it was 1000 flybuys points, but from memory you had to activate it in a certain way. The guy behind the counter kept the voucher so I don't know what it said.

Thanks for your help!

Well, I used a stack of vouchers at the supermarket today and realised that by handing them over, I've got no record of what they were! How are you keeping track of these offers? Keeping notes? Scanning the vouchers? Nothing?

Sometimes you get a limited description of the voucher/docket deal/coupon on the receipt with a 1 cent cost against it which is deducted at the end of the receipt. I usually write the offers I have taken up on my shopping list. I keep my own list of flybuys transactions and put the pending bonus points offers next to the transaction total.

I guess everyone has to come up with a system that works for them. If you have easy access to a scanner then your idea sounds good. It would be good if a more detailed description of the voucher could be put on each receipt.

I don't have the particular coupon that was mentioned above so I can't help you with the details. Further back in this thread there is a mention of another phone voucher which could be used multiple times. I can't remember the details though.

Speaking of the current sheet of mixed coupons, does anyone have the Kmart Tyre and Auto offer? Mine doesn't have a barcode on the back so I don't know how Flybuys will track the bonus points once I pay for my service. I don't know whether this is a misprint on my coupons or whether there is a system in place which has been loaded onto my flybuys card. I want to know the answers before I book in the car and present the coupon to the staff at KTAS.

I have that one for 2500 points, but mine has no barcode either. Strange, perhaps it is a misprint.

Here's a fantastic tip

Has anyone found Flight Centre gift cards with a loadable value of greater than $150, or is that it? I've tried several Coles and will also keep looking in this thread. :)

"activate before 2 september 2013"

I can send a copy of the whole thing if you like. I don't think there is anything else that is going to catch you out. It says to wait up to 8 weeks after offer expiry date for your points

Interestingly on the back it says "Offer can be redeemed once per flybuys member up to a maximum of 10" What do you reckon that means?

Thanks Newk!

I reckon it means you can buy up to 10 sims in one transaction. Funny that I think you're only allowed to have 5 active sims per person.

Just 150 dollar cards in my experience of 3 different Coles. Still a worthwhile deal IMO.

MMM...off to see what the pre paid kit includes. This offer could marry nicely with the $10 off vouchers from the gift card purchase(s)

I think you can only use one $10 voucher per transaction but I may be wrong.

That's what self-serve checkout is for ;)

A few months back a friend from uni & I stocked up on a certain food product with a manufacturer 100% discount barcode. Not only did we get the items for free but if you bought 2 it was 20% off but the rebate was fixed. Needless to say we left with bags and wallets filled.

Hope everyone made the most of it... 3ppd much? :)

The self serve check out for these lights up and says "assistance required" but I would not rule out being able to use two

Joshua, you are a legend...again.

This reminds me of the overages that you can get in some states of America with coupons. I wonder what effect self serve registers have had in the USA.

OK, I gotta ask where the original 100% off coupon came from

I know it is too late now, but according to the Flight Centre site Visa Gift Card they come in $150 (plus $6.95) and $250 (plus $7.95). I had a look at a few stores, but could only find the $150 ones. I bought one over the weekend and scored a 40c fuel voucher, triple Flybuys and it was purchased with my AMEX Platinum Edge, so I got 3 x MR points.

Only 1? :)

@asterix: I don't think you would have gotten more than 1 voucher for more than one voucher purchased in the one transaction. Needed to be 2 transactions. Anyway all done and dusted now. I got 6 x 150 (most of which are already spent on a few large items that needed to be paid), but I only saw the promotion 3 days before it ended. If I had a few more days I would have gotten a few more...
