Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Got a triple points offer for Coles from today until Sunday. It's available on the largest transaction at Coles during these dates. If all goes to plan I'll be making a $60 transaction on Friday and using a 500 point coupon as well.

I also got a 5X points offer for non fuel items at Coles Express and a 10X points offer on selected products at Liquorland and 1st Choice.

I got the same also . It will be interesting to see what offers they put out post Xmas & New Year and with the new era of no fuel offers beyond the 4c .

This is the last week of the current coupon program and I haven't seen any new coupons come out. I am also looking forward to seeing what sort of promotions they will offer now that they can't offer high value fuel vouchers. Once I run out of 20 cent vouchers I'll be going back to Woolworths/Caltex as I will be using Wish cards purchased at 5% discount which equates to about a 7 cents per litre discount. I'll also sometimes be able to get 5 litres of milk for $5 to get the extra 4 cents discount as well.

are they keeping the extra 4c off for $5 spend?

are they keeping the extra 4c off for $5 spend?

My understanding is that Woolworths/Caltex are keeping the 4 cents extra of for the instore $5 spend. This is allowed as the extra discount is being funded by the petrol station business rather than being a cross subsidised promotion with the supermarket side of the business. There is reference to this extra discount in the Woolworths catalogue starting today.

I am guessing that now Coles Express will re-introduce the feature of spending a certain amount instore at the petrol station for an extra few cents discount. It used to be spend $2 for an extra 2 cents a litre but they may try different options.

Interesting offer from Liqourland/First Choice. Week 1, every purchase triple points. Make a purchase first week, in the second week 5x points. Make a purchase in the second week and then you qualify for 10x in the third week... Tempted to do some small purchases in week 1 & 2 to trigger the 10x in the 3 week.

I was thinking the same :D

Flybuys have switched from fuel to straight bonus points as we all expected. I received this offer today.

I hope this continues, and WW EDR does the same :D

My weekly flybuys offer came in as well.
$60 for 1000 points
$70 for 1500 points
$80 for 2000 points

$10 worth of points for $80 actually sounds good but I don't want to spend that much at Coles this week so I'll probably just take up the $5 worth of points for spending $60.

I hope Flybuys continue the bonus offers and that EDR also starts offering bonus points for reasonable spending targets. I think Flybuys have increased their bonus point values. These types of point offers used to max out at 500 points but recently they have started throwing in the higher amounts of points for one shopping trip.

My offer sucks then:

$60 for 1000 points
$70 for 1500 points
$80 for 2000 points

That's much more generous than mine:

$80 for 750
$90 for 1000
$100 for 1250.

I don't know when the last time I spent $80 at Coles was, they're kidding themselves frankly! Need someone there to push the 'reset' button to make my offers something I might actually take up!

EDIT: Actually, I checked. It happened 5 times last year, the latest in November. I don't think I've ever once activated and reached one of these bonuses.

My offer is similar, although slightly better:

$50 for 1000 points
$60 for 1500 points
$70 for 2000 points

Might have to stock up the larder.

I got a 5X points offer for one tranasaction on the weekend. I decided to do a small shopping trip. Hopefully the big offers will come next week and I will combine my 500 point docket deal for spending $60 with a 500 point or more email offer.
