I received a nice email offer yesterday from Coles - Collect 3,000 BONUS POINTS and FREE DELIVERY when you spend over $100 on your first order.

I got that one as well but it's not good value for me. I rarely spend $100 at a time and I'd find it hard to make it to that amount with only specials and down down agreed prices.

Usually I spend around $50 when I'm going for specific targets. Most of the time I get at least 1500 points for spending that amount (or the equivalent in cash discounts/vouchers etc). The online order sounds impressive but it doesn't give me any more points than if I spread the purchases over two instore transactions.

On Friday I got $50 worth of groceries, used a docket deal for 1000 points, a week 3 coupon for 500 points, a double points docket deal and a triple points email offer. Add in the base points and that takes the points total to 1700 for a $50 transaction. There's very little Coles can offer me that will tempt me into using their online service.

I logged into my account a few hours ago to find a couple of new offers which hadn't come to me by email. I clicked on the first one which was "spend $60 at Coles for 500 points". I then went into the activated offers section and discovered two new activated offers. One of them was the one I had activated and the other one was "triple points on your largest shop at Coles" They were both valid for the standard Thursday to Sunday dates. I'm probably not going to spend $60 at Coles this week so I was really glad they had added a triple points email offer to the account. I thought it would work well with my week 4 triple points coupon.

I also found a Kmart Tyre and Auto flybuys email offering me 500 points just for going in for a free 5 minute check up on my car. If I then order a service or a new battery I would be eligible for more bonus points. I activated that offer as well and the email has just turned up for that offer.

I wondered why the email for the Coles offers hadn't turned up. I just checked my account and both of the Coles offers have disappeared. I'm guessing they weren't supposed to activate both of them or it was supposed to be a "choose your offer" selection in the account and the email. I'm guessing the emails have been delayed due to technical difficulties. There was also an offer on dishwashing tablets which has disappeared as well.

The email just came through. They are offering me the 500 points but no triple points now. I guess I'll make as small a transaction as I can and just use the triple points coupon. Hopefully the offer will have gone down to $50 in a few weeks time when I haven't been shopping with them.

Two weeks ago today I ordered a $50 gift card from my points. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive these in the mail?

You will usually receive gift cards well within two weeks of ordering. In a minority of cases this occasionally may extend a bit longer, so per rainbowgirl's advice, we ask flybuys members to allow up to 3 weeks.

I haven't really been impressed with the offers from the last few weeks so I haven't been reporting them.

However, this week I managed to combine a few good offers so I'll report them here. I spent $60 at Coles and managed to get 60 base points, 1000 bonus points from a docket deal for spending $60, 500 bonus points from an email for spending $60, double points from a docket deal and triple points from my week 6 coupon.

Well played. Once again we are left in your (points') wake. :)

ours was 750 for $190 spend..not worth checking if it's a real offer or nt. not going to happen

Flybuys appear to have fixed the problem they were having with their offer system last night. I activated my spend $60 for 500 points last night and got a similar error message. When I checked my offers just now the offer is in my account and has been activated.

I should be able to combine three other offers with my shopping trip tomorrow. I have a docket deal for 1000 points for spending $60, a double points docket deal and a triple points coupon.

We're sorry about this. As rainbowgirl has suggested, we had issues with our website on Wednesday evening. The offer was genuine and should be active for you. Again apologies for any confusion.

Had a coupon for 1000 points for $30 @ liquorland. Did the shop on the last day (28) but no points. Will I have to look for my receipt?

Bonus points for Liquorland promotions are usually credited within four weeks of the promotion ending, so they might not yet have been applied. Your standard points for that purchase would have been credited within a few days of the promotion, and our record of that would be sufficient if the extra points don't come through. If the standard points haven't shown, please call us on 131116 (9am-7pm AEDT, Mon-Fri).

thanks for your quick responses to these and the targetted trends comments

Has anyone received any targeted offers today for Coles supermarket shopping? Normally the Thursday to Sunday offers come out on Wednesday afternoon. I haven't received any emails and there is nothing in my account. If flybuys follow their usual pattern I'll get a "triple points on your highest shop" offer. I'm hoping they also throw in a bonus points offer on Easter Eggs and make it worthwhile for me to finish my Easter shopping with them rather than going to Woolworths for that expense.

It's been over a year since I haven't received a targeted offer running from Thursday to Sunday.

I have one for triple points received today.
Also got a Liquorland offer.But I am in Tassie-liquorland doesn't exist here.

Got an interesting offer from Coles/Flybuys this week. Spend $40 for 750 bonus points or $60 for 1000 points. It's been a while since they have tried tiered offers. I ended up using the $60 offer as I had a couple of birthday presents and cards to buy. I spent slightly over $60 and used a triple points coupon as well. I didn't have any docket deals. Nothing printed on today's receipt either. It's been a couple of weeks now since any docket deals have been generated for my account. Has anyone else noted a drop in the number of docket deals they have been receiving.
