Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I'm the opposite. Our average spend is 150-160 each week (plus a couple of top ups). We can't be bothered to split them up between 2 cards as the missus kept using the wrong card for points!

Anyway, both the current and last 10000 points offers were for spend 110 each week.

Not sure what is happening there. But I'm not complaining :-)

I just got an interesting targetd offer from Coles Express. I'm not going to take up the offer but I'm sharing it here as it might be a sign of things to come with Flybuys/Coles Express.

The offer is for a 4 cent per litre discount at Coles Express just by presenting my flybuys cards. It can't be used in conjunction with the normal supermarket fuel discount vouchers which means I wouldn't save any extra by taking up the offer. The offer runs between June 6 and June 19 and can be used multiple times during the promotion period. The offer can be used with the general Coles Express offer of spend $20 instore and get a 10 cent per litre fuel voucher.

I don't know how many other members have received the offer. A friend of mine who hardly ever uses Coles Express has also received the offer. There's no point in me using the offer as I filled up with petrol a couple of days ago in Melbourne, just before the price went up about 25 cents a litre.

I think flybuys are trialling storing petrol vouchers on the flybuys cards like Everyday Rewards do. Many members have sent feedback to flybuys asking for this feature and it's possible flybuys are trying to figure out how many members will prefer this system to the current voucher system.

Most of the time I use Woolworths/Caltex petrol stations as I can get the usual 4 cents fuel vouchers plus pay with discounted Wish cards which work out to be another 7 cents per litre saving based on a per litre price of $1.40.

The current targeted offer will be good for families who fill up on a regular basis at Coles Express but don't always have enough fuel dockets.

I had a look at the dates on the thread and realised that I hadn't been reporting my offers for a couple of weeks. It's week 3 of the 4 week promotion. There haven't been any exciting email offers but I still have the weekly coupons and the occasional docket deal. In week 2 I picked up an extra 2000 bonus points on top of the bonus points I'll be getting for the 4 week promotion. I got a couple of product based offers which I won't be taking up as I don't buy the products. One of the offers was on a vegetable called Kalettes which is a cross between Kale and Brussels Sprouts. I've never heard of this vegetable before but I'm guessing it's been around for ages. Coles are calling it new but I'm guessing they haven't sold it for a long time. We don't buy Kale or Brussels Sprouts so I don't know why we got the targeted offer.

Received an offer for 400 bonus points with the purchase of any frozen meals from the Weight Watchers range. Even better when its on special this week.

We've investigated the allocation of bonus points for Coles Express promotions, which have revealed some processing issues for selected promotions in March and April. As a result we will be processing additional points files over the next few days which we will bring points allocation up to date. We're grateful for the feedback on this forum in particular; again, we're sorry that in this instance points were not added within the timeframe we committed to.

Unfortunately I have to report that Coles Express email promos for May have not posted. Some are not due yet (i.e. not yet 4 weeks) but some are well overdue (May 1). It does not appear that this issue is fully resolved yet.

Sorry to hear this. Our records appear to indicate we are up to date with Coles Express points allocation; if you're happy to provide your member number in a private message, we will look into this especially re 1st May.

I got a triple points email offer for my biggest shop at Coles from Thursday to Sunday. That should work in well with my triple points coupon and my 1000 points docket deal for spending $50.

I got my 10,000 points last week for completing the 4 week promotion. I converted it into flybuys dollars and that will pay for my shopping trip on Friday as well as earn me another 1300 points.

Triple points on my largest shop this weekend. This would go nicely with my triple points coupon.

My friend and I were checking our flybuys accounts around 1pm today. There were a couple of good offers there from both Coles and Coles Express. The offers were in our accounts but no email had come through. We've just checked the accounts now and the offers have disappeared. The Coles Express offer was still there and the email for that one (500 points for buying 30 litres of petrol) is still there but no Coles offers. One of the Coles offers was $15 off for an $80 spend and the other one was for triple points. All of the offers were activated at the time but no longer show in the activated section of the accounts.

Did anyone else check their offers earlier today in the accounts only to find the offers have now disappeared?

I did check about 3pm as I received an email offer for buying 30 litres of petrol. Only 300 pts though :(

Didn't see any other offers and certainly no other offers now.

Thanks for the feedback and apologies for any confusion. The quite brief appearance of these on the offers page on the flybuys website is a part of our offer testing and deployment process. If you saw an offer briefly, then you will see it again before too long without it disappearing, and we will send you an email with the offer.

My email eventually came through and when I went into my account the offer was already showing in my activated offers so I didn't have to activate it a second time. The email came in much later than usual, which is what happened last time a targeted offer appeared in my account and then disappeared for a few hours.

Received a bunch of bonus points offer for purchase of specific products including shower gel, pasta, frozen berries, potato chips, and have activated all of them.

Now just to remember the specific product that I need to get to the points...

I write or type all offer details on my shopping list so I have an easy reference of offers and products.
