Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

If you know good ways of redeeming Etihad points it probably makes sense to convert them.

I will make a confession on AFF which I haven't made for a couple of years. I don't actually fly. I'm just using the point schemes to save money on groceries. If I make it to retirement age we'll go flying then and by that time I'll know all the tricks of how to get the best deals with the airlines and their loyalty programs.

Congratulations on your newborn. Our children are growing up fast but we're happy to take holidays close to home before we take them around the world.

I love your idea of combining the 10,000 bonus with the weekly coupons and docket deals. I attempt to do the same thing but it didn't work in week 4 as I mentioned above.

You've certainly helped me with strategies when the QF/Woolworths and FB/Etihad changes came in. Good to have AFF's Queen of the Flybuys on board no matter how little you fly

Triple points email received this week. The weekly coupon is also triple points. After stocking up in the last 4 weeks I don't really need much from Coles so I'll only be getting $10-$20 worth of stuff and all of it will be paid for in flybuys dollars from the 4 week promotion. I have a 1000 point docket deal but I can also use that docket next week when I use my 500 points coupon. I'm going to have to be careful as I can't remember what week we're up to for the 12 week coupon promotion.

I'm guessing the Christmas week offers have been decided on but haven't been sent out yet.

I don't want to do any large shopping trips on Thursday apart from picking up the Roast Beef from the butcher and the bread rolls from Bakers Delight early in the morning. I got the roast lamb last week when it was on special at Coles. I just have to remember to take it out of the freezer before Christmas day.

I am hoping that Flybuys send out their Christmas week email offers on either Sunday or Monday and that the offers last all week. Usually I wait until late in the week to do my big Coles shopping trip but next week I'm doing it on Wednesday in order to avoid most of the crowds on Thursday. I'd like to be able to take up at least 3 offers in my Christmas Coles/flybuys shopping trip.

Fly Buys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Forgot to post this a week ago, but I have received an email offer to earn x 5 times flybys points for all purchases at the new Shell Coles Express servo just opened at the bottom of the West Gate Bridge ( Northbound).
The bonus points are awarded until Christmas Day.

With a united Servo opposite, fuel prices are very competitive too I've noticed.

With Woolies/Caltex not posting QFF points correctly, I've recently given up on them, so this is ideal for me as I travel over the Westgate regularly , at least 4 times per week .

Not too sure if the wine is any good, although an easy 1000 points just for buying one single bottle of Hardys . ImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1450409587.181770.jpg

My wish came through regarding flybuys targeted offers for Christmas week.

500 points for $60 shop at Coles. Offer runs from Monday 21 to Sunday 27 December.

This works in nicely with my weekly coupon and docket deal.

I got this, not sure if it is of use to anyone: (I tried to copy in the full info, but was too many little ticks)

Got sim offer - 500 points for $70 spend, and some 1000 point docket deal, but due to Mrs Bodie woolworths offer, dont think will get to utilise , unless decide to stock up on things on sale.

Well this offer just came through, Morning Fresh 400mL is already on a 50% off special (Currently $1.97 QLD METRO) in this weeks catalog, what the offer fails to mention is if it's a further 50% off $1.97 lol

I guess I will find out tonight or tomorrow :P

Flybuys ran their New Years offers across one week, similar to the Christmas week situation.

The only email offer I got was triple points on my biggest shop at Coles. The other offers I had were a double points docket deal and a triple points weekly coupon. This effectively only meant a 3% saving using loyalty points on my transaction. As a result I spent less than $10 at Coles and $3 at the local greengrocer who had a couple of items cheaper than Coles. I'll probably spend around $50 or $60 next week provided I can get at least 15% in loyalty bonuses.

It's been a fairly ordinary month so far from Flybuys which is about normal for January for both loyalty programs. The offers don't usually get interesting or worthwhile until Australia Day when the meat offers come out. Meat has been fairly high priced in the last year so I'm hoping for some good offers so it is worth stocking up.

I had one good week last week where I spent $60 at Coles and got 2120 points which worked out to $10.60 value which I redeemed straight away for flybuys dollars.

This week I only spent $28 at Coles. On Wednesday I was expecting there to be a 1000 point docket deal on my receipt when I did my tiny trigger shop. There was no docket deal at all which is unusual as I've had a 1000 docket deal every two weeks for months. If I'd gotten that docket deal I would have spent $50 or $60 at Coles. As a result of the missing docket deal, Woolworths got $30 of my shopping which they otherwise wouldn't have gotten. The gift cards I am using at Woolworths at the moment were bought at a 10% discount which is better than the 2% that flybuys were offering me this week with multiple point offers.

This week was also the last week of the coupon promotion. I haven't heard anything yet about a new batch of coupons. There is usually a couple of weeks between promotions.

had a triple points offer this week. no coupons for us. still having issues with Etihad tier miles being credited but flybuys have been so good/ helpful at trying to fix the problem.

I got an offer with an interesting timeframe today from flybuys. They are offering triple points on my largest shop at Coles between Monday 18 and Friday 22 January. I'm wondering if this means the next offer will start on Saturday and focus on meat and other goods in preparation for Australia Day.

I actually need to do a shopping trip on Monday to Coles so I might end up using the offer and then waiting until Saturday to do my big shop, providing there is a decent offer. If there's no decent offer I will be shopping at Woolworths for the other shopping I need during the week.

I'm guessing this means no Wednesday emails however I'll still look out for them just in case I can stack a few offers together.

Got same time frame for my offer that just arrived.
