Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I have been meaning to reply. I got one of the extra deals in the post which was several weeks of spend $220 get $40 off. House of 3 adults this is easy leading up to Christmas as I will just get some extra things I will use Christmas Day.

$80 a week for 4 weeks for me. Considering I didn't bother with the $70 offer, I will pass.
I did a relatively large shop yesterday ($100) to take advantage of a couple of offers - docket deals and a coupon. I won't get close to that for the next few weeks. At the bottom of the docket I was told that I have completed the first week of my 4 week offer, along with: "Remember to choose and activate your reward by November 22nd".

They're cunning folks those Coles people.

The first week of the promotion is very strange. It goes for 9 days.

did anyone else get a Telstra offer of 1500 points "When you spend $50 or more on any Telstra Pre-Paid recharge"

I've read teh T&Cs a number of times and can't work out if 2 * $30 recharge vouchers would get the points or if you have to buy a single voucher at a minimum of $50

Has anyone made use of the voucher by buying multiple recharges under $50?

With all the bonus offers telstra has at present (5GB and bonus 1.3GB night data), and the new roll over of data and calls AND international calling credit (minimum $200), a $30 recharge provides pretty much everything I need till the current promotions expire on Jan 25.

Telstra pre paid is extremely competitive these days, especially since the rolled over calls and data get used up first which means you maximise the amount rolled over each month.

Fairly confident its an account.
Your confidence is well placed.

100% certain it is an account. Coles wants you to have multiple cards per account - that way unplanned spending by one person can reduce the benefit to the account if trying to 'game' the system (for example).

If someone does have multiple cards - that's OK BUT now get new accounts for every person who has a card for that account (except one possibly). Provided you can carry multiple cards (in the future) then you can really have some FUN.

Say you have a family of 4 or 5 - then by having an account for all over 13 yrs (seems to be min useful age for this exercise) you can maximise your benefits. Unlike WoW where there is (until 31.12.15) a hurdle of $30 for any QFF earn or petrol docket - with Coles the minimum spend hurdle can be $1 for points although the petrol docket is $30.

Just like people may use multiple bank accounts/ccs to take advantage of best interest rate or bonus offer - the same should be done for affinity/loyalty programs of all types. After all people may have loyalty to companies but it is EXTREMELY rare for companies to have real loyalty to people.

I got $110 for 4 weeks to get 10,000 points or $50, it is probably achievable since we've just switched to doing one big shop a week instead of several small ones.

I don't get 4 week promos but I do get the coupons in the mail. This week it's triple points.

I also got an offer for 100 points on Bisquick. I'd never heard of it so I looked into it and it seems utterly useless - just use flour instead.

I got a couple of strange bonus offers for products including the Bisquick one. I have no idea what it is. I got triple points on all my frozen goods as well as my triple points on the whole shop using the week 4 coupon. I had a 1000 point docket deal for spending $50 plus I was lucky enough to get the 4 week promo for 10,000 points.

The expiry date of the docket deal was 1 December so it looks like it was only last weeks docket deals that had the short expiry.

Last night got a 1000 points docket deal for $80 spend till 1 December. Probably not going to use it but we will see. Have a coupon for 1000 pts over $70 for next week as well.

Fly Buys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I received an email for 500 bonus points for a $20 spend at Liquorland or 1000 bonus points for a $30 spend at Liquorland this weekend.

Too easy!

Off to buy some plonk I think :)

Got an email offer - get a solar quote from AGL and get 1,000 points.

Is it worth all the calls back in the weeks ahead...

I'm wondering how much information we have to give them in order to get the quote. We already have the solar but I'm quite happy to go through a brief phone call to get $5 worth of points. I doubt it will be that easy.

Energy Australia called me today to ask why I had asked to switch to AGL. Offered me multiple discounts but they couldn't get their head around that the potential to get 4% off all my Coles shopping might outweigh that

Received in the mail yesterday 4 weeks of coupons of $28 off spend of $130 specific to 3 local stores. Definitely doable.
Can't work out how the stores are chosen. Two of these I use and are close to me but the third is further away and I have never shopped there and others which are closer are not included.
