Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Well the Flybuys website is a complete Clusterf#$@

I tried to click on the chat and filled out all my details twice including full name address phone number FB number etc. Twice it just spun in a circle and said no chat agents are available.

So I rang the number - gave all my details again and after waiting the call wen through and rang then someone answered and they just hung up

Second try I got a nice young man who said because I had spent over $30 it was all good but I have to ring again on Monday because it takes two days before they can see the transaction - FFS

I asked him what proof I would have that what he said was going to be honoured and he said the call is recorded so we shall see

I got a $70 spend for 4 weeks for 10000

I did a click and collect and spent $80 but one of the products isn't available so now it's only $60 - does anyone know what I do now? Do I contact Flybuys or do I have to spend another $70
On my experience when Ive fallen short of the required shop amount for online shop, I've called simply explained the situation and they clear it as approved spend. They give an amount leeway ~$20 from memory, but it's not locked in I was told. Not our fault they can't deliver a product as our intention was to spend the required $$.

Yes it is hopeless that FB takes 48hours before the transaction is registered at their end.

They've always honoured any time mine have been short. And I've been well over $20 short!

I find the fastest way is to go to the FAQ section of the flybuys website, say the FAQ didn't answer your question and a form pops up. Fill that in saying you missed out on the points. They'll then email you, you attach the order showing you tried to spend $70 and they'll credit the points the next day (and once you have their email, save it!)

A little mucking around sure, but I used to always over-order to avoid this, which was unnecessary!

I understand the 48 hours is a coles delay, not flybuys. Still annoying!

Thanks - I'll try the FAQ next time and see if I get the form

When I have to spend a target amount to get FB bonus points, I always shop at the store to avoid the above issue(s) of an item being unavallable and the target spend not being met. :)

I'm not very mobile at the moment so it's needs must at the moment to do click and collect

So I had to ring again because when I clicked on the missing points I couldn't open the chat again.

I got an absolutely clueless lady with a very strong accent.

She told me that yes she could see the issue but she couldn't do anything about it and I had to ring after the fourth spend. I tried to say to her several times this is conflicting information to what I was told and she kept giving an irrelevant and repetitive spiel. Finally I just said I can't put up with this any longer and I'm going to hang up.

Today I checked and my 10,000 points have been awarded so I didn't need to ring again. Maybe she used to work for Qantas

Is there a public link to that offer or is it targeted? I can’t seem to see it, I only have the points millionare and some other monthly transfer competition…

Why 4000pts? If the promo is for a max of 2000 VFF, transferring 2000 FB at double the normal rate would max it out?
4,000 would normally net 2,000 VFF points, and so under the promo where 1=1, it would be a bonus of 2,000 VFF points, which is the promo maximum

The 2,500 points offer per $xx_ shop have started again :)

2,500 for $190 on account 1
2,500 for $150 on account 2
Got a 2500 point for $150 offer too. Handy as I need to stock up on $230 Boost vouchers for my dad and I before they can the $230 160GB plan...
