Forum update bugs?

@admin looks like they may have been a forum software update and unfortunately some enhancements have occurred. A number of us are experiencing double postings and also in my case at least when giving a reaction it opens a new dialog box and says do you really want to give this reaction or something similar.

Yep! I was going to post exactly the same but wasn’t sure if it was the hotel wifi! (I do get some weird behaviour on AFF when not on mobile or at home).
 
Same issue (on android at least) the quick reply seems to be putting up a dialogue/preview box while also actually posting..

But it doesn't actually clear the posted text so very easy to double post which then generally gets auto-combined.
 
It would appear AFF has updated to Xenforo 2.3, lots of cool functionality there, such as using passkeys to login. Was there a post made about the update? So far I can see that highlighting text is darker than I would like - dark blue against black text doesn't work. The "like" button can be changed back if people want that. I'd say the new feature where your post become a preview box on top of everything else is probably something that can be switched off, just need to know where to look ;)

Xenforo 2.4 should be out mid-next year with some good interim updates before the big 3.0 that seems to be dragging on forever!

I just know I couldn't access AFF a day or so ago. And yesterday did a double post which merged itself.

Ah. Just did it again. As I clicked Reply this pop up occurred instead of forum posting the stuff I'd written.

As many of you have noticed, we successfully updated our forum to the latest version of Xenforo 2.3 yesterday with minimal downtime. Thank you all for your feedback so far, and for flagging some of the differences, bugs and "enhancements" (@RooFlyer) that came with the upgrade.

We’re aware of issues like double posting and the reaction confirmation dialog box some of you are experiencing, especially on mobile devices. Rest assured, we’re working on understanding and resolving these and will keep tweaking what we can to improve the overall experience. We appreciate your patience as we go through these updates!

On the positive side, there are some great new features in this update, as @samh004 mentioned. Some of the key benefits of Xenforo 2.3 include:
  • Greater Security: You can now use passkeys to log in, which is a big step forward in security and convenience.
  • Improved Performance: This version brings better overall forum speed and responsiveness.
  • New Customisation Options: We can adjust elements like the "like" button and post preview functionality to fit the community’s preferences better.
As we continue to work through the feedback and make adjustments, please keep the comments coming. Features like changing the colour of highlighted text or adjusting the post preview box are being looked into, and we’re aiming to fine-tune the look and feel of the forum in the coming days.

I especially like, whether on purpose or inadvertently, that you kept the "agree", "informative" and "hugs" reactions, which I put into place what seems like a lifetime ago :)

Regarding the "like" icon, I have a link to share.

I'd like to use the blue one again but "Like" is uneditable unlike the other reactions, how to change it back? Thanks!

The other issue I had yesterday when I posted a link to another thread it appeared like this below instead of just the link that normally appears

I have an issue quoting. When I click on the "+Quote" button, it takes me to a whole new page meaning it's not possible to quote more than one post.
