The Devaux was always a sweetish number for me. It was good in the beginning, but when they introduced the Taittinger I changed camps (or rather, champs). I sampled all four champagnes again last time I was in the MEL T2 FL, just for old times' sake. And it just confirmed that I'm not sad to see it go (though it does limit the palate pleasing range a bit).
Was never quite a fan of the Bollinger Rose, but then it might just be the day rather than the drop. The Bollinger Special Cuvee is alright, though of course it doesn't beat the Grande Cuvee 1999 (which is all but extinct now), but it does beat the living daylights out of the Cattier they were serving in the BA T5 GF lounge the other day!
