I was going off Mattg's last post where he said this requirement wasn't in the T&Cs.

Oh well, whatever
 
I applied last November and when questioned why the status match was denied was then informed that my country of residence (Australia) was not applicable.
 
Got the same e-mail today. Sounds like some of us may have been a day or 2 too late before they decided enough was too many.
I applied straight away and was still not successful, received the same response as others, that is not applicable to residents outside their list of countries when I kept emailing for an explanation.
 
unfortunately same result here...no upgrade

Same as many here, applied on the first day and the silver card came in the mail in mid December. I have however flown AirBerlin once about two years ago Frankfurt to Berlin and back. Wonder if this is a factor?
