Not at all.I just don't rule out the possibility that there was an alteration made to the copy of the email.

The daily telegraph has published an alleged copy of the original. It clearly states private and commercial in confidence. I don't see what they would have to gain by adding that detail at the top fraudulently.

Given the strategies almost universally employed nowadays by media savvy legal representatives looking for a large payout, I have no problem believing Falou's own team released the document

Izzy is certainly nailing his non-rainbow colours to the mast.

Here we go. He's now chasing three million dollars in crowdfunding for his legal stuff. Prepared to walk away not long ago? That's all changed it seems.

Now wanting (vulnerable) people to fund this. o_O

Edit: Why can't his religion fund this, if it's so important.

I'm just wondering what lectionary his church uses, as it was Trinity Sunday, so I would have expected a sermon around the mystery of the Triune God. ;)

I feel that greed has come into this. It's really about the money. I'll keep an eye out for Crowdfunding to support Rugby Oz. ;)

Israel is more than entitled to defend himself and fight back against the institutionalised rubbish that he has been subjected to by the clowns at RA. RA promised him a confidential process but RA has then leaked details of that to vilify Israel and cover their own backsides; this is a means for Israel to highlight the duplicity of those who have vilified him. Hopefully he sues RA into insolvency. As matters stand, the inept Raelene Castle has managed to make an even bigger mess of RA than she did of the Canterbury Bulldogs.

Well you can help him fight RA if you want by donating to his crowd funding attempt.

Or you could help a kid fight cancer.

Israel Folau criticised by Drew Mitchell for being greedy after launching $3m GoFundMe campaign for legal fight.

One of Israel Folau's former teammates has accused the 73-Test Wallabies star of "greed" after he launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise $3 million to fight Rugby Australia (RA) over the termination of his contract.

Israel Folau's rugby career was ended after he posted on social media that homosexuals, among others, would go to hell unless they repented

Drew Mitchell response:

YOU are in a fight that YOU chose to be in after YOU broke the terms of YOUR contract, the kids below are in a fight they NEVER wanted to be in & yet YOU think YOU deserve donations more than they do??!!

It’s no longer about religion, it’s about YOU and YOUR greed

>$471,000 raised in less than two days....
Now over $500,000 to someone who does not need that crowdfunded money. $8 million earnings in less than 10 years it seems.

Reports of the legal defence probably not exceeding $300,000 anyway.

There are much more worthwhile causes out there.

Indeed .. but those who have contributed may simply see it as a way of expressing support ...

Currently sitting around $620K. Pretty good pace @ > $200k /pd.

Have to agree with his former team mate, greed is nasty, anyway I won't be contributing and I really don't care who does.

This go fund me page like the >21,700 person poll that returned a 89% rejection of his sacking by RA is very interesting.

One wonders how RA allowed itself to get into this godawful mess.... if the past decade or so of rotten performance on the playing field wasn't bad enough, they've now appeared to alienate a huge chunk of the Australian Rugby public.

FWIW the total is now sitting at >$752K

Has a familiar ring to the cohort who donated to a gofundme to help build Trump's wall and now no-one knows where the money ended up.

Lurking in the background, it would have been interesting to see the source or funds and number of donors to realistically access the support he had. Was it 15x$50K or 75Kx$10.

Either way out of a pop of 25M the support wasn't so great.

IIRC last time I looked is was just under 10,000 individuals that donated.

Not a bad effort in less than 4 days.

This affair certainly has created interest, and this embargo will only add more fuel to the fire.

Can see this going all the way to the High Court unless RA take some wind out of the sails.

So, GoFundMe Australia says that the Folau appeal breached the organisation's T+C:

Anyway, he won't miss those donations as he is very well off, financially.
