Good thing @Flashback, her indoors has been sending me emails when I'm holed up in my office/room listening to music, loudly.
On a different note it would be nice if some on here didn't find the need to gloat so much about how well they are doing whilst a lot of people out there are suffering, but of course, as usual, ymmv.
Swmbo said this evening that Sweden are going for herd immunity.
No restrictions all..

Haven't been on a cruise conference recently, have they? .
But they have a very good medical system to handle it, or so it's claimed.Swmbo said this evening that Sweden are going for herd immunity.

We shall see. FTR - I reckon it's the way to go including here in Australia.
It's a valid approach *if* and big if,you can keep the high risk candidates away, and thats the issue, it spreads so easily that it's hard to control that.
Bit like sending kids to the house that had chickenpox.
Once you've had COVID you should be issued a certificate and be exempt from all the restrictions.
We are travelling to get our flu shots in the morning. In the isolation period our wheelie bins travelled further than we did.
All ok over here in Western Australia Island.
Assuming immunity is a big call , too early imo.
There is no scenario that says au can just write off all the oldies, not gonna happen
I used the tele doctor service yesterday - just perfect.
Script written, collected, and dispensed with absolute total ease. Loving not hanging out in the waiting room.
I'll have to ask some of my Swedish friends. Summer is coming there, maybe that will help.
Out of interest, was it a new script or a repeat? The reason I ask is that's one thing I love about the NHS over here, prescriptions are all electronic so you simply logon, request a repeat and then it gets processed and automatically sent to the pharmacist to dispense. Absolutely brilliant.
Might be the case for others. But for us the script is written old school, and needs to be collected at the front counter. Clip the ticket stuff for medicare I suspect, similar to referrals, etc.
The scripts with have repeats listed or they will not. Total lottery depending on the what's being ordered.

That's a shame, they could really reduce overhead and the need for using up a GP's time in Australia if they modernised!
amaroo, I quietly disagree. This whole thing is a balance - between trying to save (globally) millions of (mainly) seniors lives, but at harsh economic cost. The "flattening of the curve" is an attempt to keep the disparity between available ICU beds and those needing them at a minimum - I don't think anyone actually thinks the difference can be kept at zero.
If a country decides to go for "herd immunity" - ie letting some die so the others do not suffer economically, I suspect that they are on a very foolish course. I have no idea about the Swedish economy, but given that most nations are trying to save their elders, the economic fallout will be severe - so any country, even if miraculously free from Corona, will suffer anyway - from tourism through to exports.
Don't agree with that. I prefer some contact, particularly when dispensing drugs. We have 20+ year relationship with our family doctor, the NHS must have a better safety net system than the one your describing
