I have not seen the speculated cause yet. But if makers like Modena are making 2 or 3 spikes in one vaccines going forward, risks should rise. Ether way the picture for susceptible types, other than age, has not elaborated, such as differences observed on different continents. No but the cause of the rare blood clots is said to be associated with a cross reaction of spike protein antibodies with platelets. That is close to being called in covid positive patients with clots.
And guess what, the mRNA vaccines stimulate antibodies to the spike protein so will be no great surprise to me if the association becomes widely accepted.
Whereas I have friends here who family back at home in Delhi who have contracted COVID and are struggling due to the oxygen shortage in hospitals. Not a good situation... Not sure on their Vax situation as didn't ask further. Some interesting anecdotal info came my way today that maybe gives pause for some perspective. My Indian colleague who lives in New Delhi, India emailed overnight with some peronal info re the horrific situation over there. He tested + last week but was only very mildly sick for about 2 days. Everyone else in his extended family (as is common over there he and his brother and their wives and children all live with his parents in the family home) has subsequently tested negative. All have had the Astra jab, the rest of the family had both jabs, my colleague who tested + only one so far, in March. Given everything going over there I think its extremely fortunate that they were all vaxxed as otherwise the outcome could have been very different. Of course, they are pretty well off and probably would have access to better healthcare than the general population. Probably how they all got to be vaccinated in the first place as I think they still haven't vaccinated very many people there.

Nearly every US adult who wants a COVID vaccine will likely have had one within the next two to three weeks.
But don't they align with the thinking of many people in Australia?Pity about the issues in the ‘red’ states....
That should leave more for the Blue states.Pity about the issues in the ‘red’ states....
Well the UK first shot of the Oxford vaccine is about 10 times that of Europe or Australia. With those numbers it is likely that the UK incidence of these blood clots is more likely to be the true number.AZ clotting more common than first thought in under 50s.
AstraZeneca advice unlikely to change despite rate of rare clotting ‘doubling’
New European research suggests the incidence of a rare blood clotting condition in AstraZeneca vaccine recipients is twice as prevalent as previously reported, but also forecasts the vaccine will still prevent many more deaths than it causes.www.smh.com.au

Only in America.
BBC said:An extra 60 million doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid vaccine have been ordered by the UK government as it puts together plans for a vaccination booster programme in the autumn.
It brings the total number of Pfizer doses ordered by the UK to 100 million.
The expectation is that the most vulnerable groups will be offered another jab before next winter.
Nearly two-thirds of UK adults have received one dose of a Covid vaccine with a quarter having had two.
Not experienced by any of my friends or colleagues that have had those vaccines.Low efficacy I know but as a matter of interest, are there any reported adverse effects from the Russian and Chinese vaccines? Blood clots or others?

Not bad, really.
