Had the 6 weekly SPC change on Tuesday. Has been around 6 months since it was first put in. The community nurses are concerned that nothing has happened on the referral front as this entire thing was meant to be short term. The referral has also disappeared from their system, so they have no idea what's going on. They are chasing it up (again).
The Meloxicam my GP put me on in early Feb improved the problem, such that by mid April I was able to void my bladder without using the tube. The reason I started on the Meloxicam cleared up, so I stopped taking it, partly to see if the bladder thing would get worse again.
Has been fine, until this past weekend. Normal flow out of bladder has started to become constricted again, but feels like the partial (?) blockage is now in a different spot.
Started getting vertigo recently. First time about 2 months ago came as part of a migraine. Another one last week, without other migraine symptoms. Went to the walk in center for it after getting sent home from work. They said to go to the hospital if it got worse.
It got worse, went to the hospital Friday last week.
During a CT scan, they found a small aneurysm. They don't think it's related to the vertigo, but want to follow up on it.
For most of the past 2 weeks, I've gotten up feeling fine, then gotten progressively worse throughout the day. Many of the normal migraine symptoms + dizziness but without aura. Getting worse the longer I move around. Left work early yesterday. Decided it was better to take rest of week off (rather then go for 2 hours, get dizzy then go home) until my GP appointment early next week.
Had Flu shot and a Covid booster on Tuesday after the community nurse appointment. Had Wednesday off with apparent side effects (happened last year as well).
Have spent more time off sick in the past 6 months then I have in the prior 15 years (and that includes a 7 day isolation period for Covid, a week off for what turned out to be blood infection and a period of workers comp in 2019)
