Gift Cards at Supermarkets

Everyone who has bought a $5.95 card has received 1060 points instantly as per the catalogue offer.

No evidence yet that anyone has received the 3x/5x/10x Christmas Bonus for Only1 purchases on top of the catalogue offer. I suppose there is still hope since the T&Cs says it could take 7 days.

I can see why people would confuse the catalogue offer with the Christmas Bonus because the catalogue offer is awarding 1060 instead of 1000 points.

If anyone buys a $5.95 card today they will still get 1060 points, same as yesterday.
Interesting interpretation. I had assumed that the instant reward was the Christmas bonus but I could be mistaken. Its still viable for me in any case-cheap points even if no free money

the christams bonus finished yestreday, im sure

Anyone still using Only1 Visa cards? Checking the balance of these cards seem to be a pain as you have to create a login now?

It says that calling up has a surcharge? Or that's not true, i.e. free to check balance via phone?

This is Gift Cards for Supermarkets but HCF Thank You Rewards now do 5% Coles eVoucher via Amex (with the same 1% fee as Visa?MC). Unfortunately only $500 per member per month

I recently purchased Good Guys concierge for 5 years for a new fridge, the Good Guys concierge website has Coles gift cards with a 5% discount and there is no surcharge. They had 10% WISH and Coles Myer Group gift cards of $500, I bought 3, it was a limited time offer that finished on Monday. You pay via Paypal and the merchant is The Pegasus Group, so it is normal points earn not supermarket earn.

How long does it take to receive the gift cards?

I've seen reports on Ozbargain of it taking several weeks.

The egift cards say 48-72 hours, I ordered one on Friday and it arrived in email on Monday. The physical ones I ordered on Monday said that they could take up to 28 days. If I need one straight away I'll buy them through Suncorp since they've always been immediate delivery for egift cards, but they only do 4% off Coles/WISH and only accept VISA/Mastercard.

28 days is a very long time, especially with the added concern of them going missing in the post.

28 days is the quoted time, closer to 10 weeks is more realistsic. Registered post a must for me when ordering several $k of cards (or anything)

Wow 10 weeks. Oh man. I was hoping they were just being over cautious and I've have them in a week or two. 10 weeks is ridiculous.

Agree. My last batch were ordered 2nd August, some delivered mid October (ordered from good guys concierge), some delivered 11 November (from super fund benefits)

I'll have to workout what the real discount is since the money will be paid, but I won't get the benefit for so many weeks.
