So who will be first to pull the trigger and wander to Woolworths?
I bought $500 2 days ago at 5% off
The next question is then- can you buy a plastic WISH in BigW using an eBigW card?
I think that will depend greatly on the cashier. I'm pretty sure you can't buy WISH cards from the self service, only the cards with a fixed value.
I've been able to buy plastic WISH with eWISH in NSW WW stores but never tried BigW
This includes self-service
Did you need staff member assistance to load the gift card?
Self service is probably easier in this respect, but does BigW have self service?Yes but they never stick around to see you pay even if they knew to care.
At a standard cashier, have frequently bought plastic WISH with eWISH but always with some other items

They do at our local one
Just wanted to check the situation with the Flight Centre Gift Cards. Does this mean that I could use my AMEX Edge to buy a lot of Flight Centre Gift Cards - to redeem on a European tour (e.g. Globus or Insight). Which means that I can pay for the tour with my credit card effectively, plus get 3X points. The catalogue says that a $150 gift card is $141.75. Can buy 10 cards per transaction.

So, is using the egift cards (from entertainment book) a dodgy thing to do (that is, I should you be extremely discrete) or can you confidently do this transaction at a checkout?
