Talking of 'bonnii', we discussed it at the CBR do recently. My vague memory is an AFFer buying many boxes tins of fish (cat food?), or something. Anyone remember the thread and is it still there?

I've had a good look around but can't find a way to purchase a Visa/MC prepaid card with Amex. I don't mind pay a small fee (up to 0.6% or so). I have about $2k of insurance bills coming up and Allianz don't accept Amex!

Ideas anyone?

Coles has a targetted 10x points or 1,000 bonus points per $100 Coles prepaid mastercard with $5 fee. Bonus points should cover the $5 fee.

Is there any way to get larger denomination cards? I don't think they'll accept 15x payments unfortunately

Not sure, I made more than 15 payments to the ATO. Someone from ATO rang me yesterday... just to confirm I made those multiple payments, no other problems other than confirming they were from me.

Definitely targetted. I have received this offer each of the 3 times. I have used offer heavily and with minimal 'breakage' so no idea how they decide who gets it
Maybe they just want to increase turnover in my local stores

The Joshua thread got moved to the media request section which is somewhere else in the "Other forums" section. There was another member apart from Joshua who had a bulk cat food order. He was the one who did the donation to charity and possible tax deductions. That story is probably still in the EDR targeted thread and the member also had a blog about the chase for the points. The eligible transaction rules for online orders were different back then. Some of the other members story might be in Joshua's thread.

To the members who were hoping to get gift card targeted offers, try unsubscribing from all Coles offers, logging out and then logging back in and re-subscribing to the Coles offers and any Coles Financial offers (not sure if these are in a different section). This technique has worked for our family members when the weekly offers have just dried up for no reason at all. This seems to reset the system.

Sorry for the lateness in the subscription advice. It's been a crazy few weeks and I lost track of this thread. Happy hunting for bonus points and credit card points.

When you say unsubscribing from all Coles , did you log in your Coles account or Flybuys account or unsubscribe from the email i received , I still received other offer fine just never received the MC Card Bonus Points offer .

I'm talking about the Flybuys account and the section in "My Account Details" where it lists all the email subscriptions. It's a bit tricky to find but there are lots of options there you can subscribe and unsubscribe from by ticking and unticking the relevant boxes.

Picked up 8x$100 Coles Gift MasterCards at Coles Macquarie Centre today. There were still at least 5-10 leftover when I left at 2pm today.

I saw some Jetstar gift cards at my local Coles for the first time over the weekend. I think they were only $50 ones.

I saw dome Jetstar in WW and Big W. Am unlikely to ever use though

Managed to get the last 12 $100 Coles Gift cards at Coles Melbourne Central today. Managed to get about $8k worth during this promo.

Might be more useful if they have a 10% offer. Denominations only in 50 and 100 dollar denominations but it looks like you don't forfeit any leftover balance unlike the Jetstar online vouchers.

Also useful for avoiding CC surcharges and earning bonus points on AMEX for supermarket purchases.

I believe all linked VFF accounts will earn DSC (up to 20 per FB account) in both Nov and Dec
There's no actual offer on the CGMC so you would have to stump up the activation fee. Would work out $50 for 20SCs but if you have an Edge you also have the 3 MR points/$ and 1FB/$
Family pooling does work if you each have separate FB accounts but this is limited as you have to be over 16 to have a FB account and you can only have 2 over 18s in a VA pool.
There is obviously a risk that systems could be tightened but if you play honest, the $ at risk should be reasonably low
Addit:note you can only earn from $1000 C*les/LL/1stD spend/month so you should only top up to that amount
You could also use discounted GCs to buy CGMCs if you can find them and the store dont stop you
