Gift Cards at Supermarkets

I was just reconciling my family coughB*ys accounts and it does seem that the $100 Gift MCs do contribute to VA SC earn (despite T&Cs)
Obviously could change at any time (which is why I'm not putting it in a thread that reps visit often) but could be worth a punt for cheap SCs esp while the DSC offer is on

So the $15k purchase will see 130 go to waste, sniff sniff. On why was all the family offered the 1,000 point FB bonus.on the $100 prepaid Cmcs...

Also VERY worthwhile to write c or w instead of full name - on-the-ball social media employees just do a daily/weekly google search for the full name to locate any presence.

Well they've outsourced the servicing of it to the Philippines, and it being down from Oct 28 until his morning - also suggests issues...

I wonder if I can then merge my Coles limit into my existing Citi card. Haven't been using it but assume Citi will tighten up the rules on point earn for certain payments to Canberra.

Probably a stupid question but haven't been following this thread so here goes: assume this is for anyone (not targeted) buying these gift cards in store? Where do you look to find them?

Not targeted, just wander into shop, look on the cards vertical file and go for it. Pick up the 'specials' for this week catalogue in store or on line to see what are the offerings as it won't say on the card holder.

There's usually a very large display inside the store. Often with more than 50 different types of gift cards. It's hard to miss.

FBs for the cost of the CGMC have come through though the FBs from the (expired)offer are not due yet. Reconciling, two accounts would not have received as many SCs for October if GCs were excluded

I meant the bonus 1000 points on each GC.

I checked this morning saw 2000 points awarded for a day when I spent $4500 (45 CMCGCs). I'm hoping there's more to come. Have always been accurate for previous offers. Might just be a little early this time.

The offer for 2,000 points for only 1 c prepaid mc - came through a couple of weeks back within a day or tow of the transaction.

Strange how that catalogue offer could be credited so quickly and these ones cannot.

As the last date for the either 10x points or 1,000 bonus points targeted offer only finished on Nov 8 - we will have to wait until Dec 6th at the earliest.

No coincidence that it is outside the 15% bonus transfer window the cynic in me suspects.

BTW the C reloadable mc prepaids have a zero% FX conversion fee through to transaction conducted up to and including 31 December...

You're getting 2 status credit per $100 purchase as well. some have report that it works with giftcards.
