Does anyone have experience of how long Lumo Advantage take to ship WW 5% off Gift cards?
Advantage Online Partners | Save on 1000's of top Brands

I tested this out myself given no one replied...
Order placed Tuesday 4 June in the morning.
Order shipped Tuesday 11 June
Order received Wednesday 12 June

Admittedly 10 June was a public holiday, but I do wonder what happened to Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

I questioned Lumo Advantage (which is actually Customer loyalty programs | Incentive marketing programs | Travel rewards program ) and they said it can take up to two weeks. It makes me wonder if they order the cards from Woolworths and then re-ship them to the customer (eg they order from Woolworths Wednesday, Woolworths ship Thursday, received at Lumo Friday, then Lumo ship the next business day).

Anyway, it's a little slow, but it's a source of 5% off vouchers with no membership fee (ala RAC WA and Entertainment Book)

Two caltex woolworths near me don't accept wish cards. Is this a trend or just bad luck?

Ipswich Rd Annerley and Sherwood Rd Rocklea, Brisbane. If Woolloongabba and Toowong are also not playing along I'll be going back to 2pt per dollar with Amex edge.

My local one is on my way to the office and High Road,Riverton in Perth was working fine about a week ago for using Wish Gift Cards. Cutting 5% off is quite worthwhile.

Just want to check can you buy petrol at Safeway petrol station with WW Gift cards?
Can you use family member RACV, QACV number and purchase gift card with your own credit card in store?

Yes, It's best to buy the WISH type Gift Cards, they are accepted at more stores than the petrol gift cards.

Example
Catalogue: Browse WISH Gift Card | Everyday Gift Cards

Can you use family member RACV, QACV number and purchase gift card with your own credit card in store?

No. To obtain the discount, you will have to buy through the affiliate’s website or mail order to obtain the specific discount. If you purchase them in-store at WW, it will be the full cash value price.

Last time I read that people just walked in to RACQ and purchased them over the counter?
Did this change recently?

Only some affiliate’s do keep the gift cards over the counter / in-store. I am not sure about RACQ. From memory that some AFF members in SA & WA were able to get it in-store though their affiliate membership that way.

I walked into RAC Cannington and picked up 8 $250 Wish Gift cards for $1900 and put the charge on my newish Westpac Black Altitude Amex. Had to call home so the RAC lady could ID Mrscove as it is $1k limit per cardholder.
Went off to BigW and BWS to bag 950 bonus points that Woolworths were offering complete with a final 5% off.
I still have not had anyone in front nor behind me pay at a checkout with Gift Cards.
Masters Hardware take them so they tend to be 5% cheaper than Bunnings and for Fuel Woolies Caltex become quite competitive.

RACQ Indooroopillly store do NOT sell WISH cards over the counter. When I asked they referred me to the website. The lady at the RACQ desk was nice, "no we don't sell over the counter, you have to go online... if we did sell over the counter I would buy them myself, but I don't like waiting a few days to get them"... Fair enough. If and when I have a Citiselect card this will be more worthwhile (currently I am exceeding my monthly points cap on the Virgin flyer visa, and earning only 0.5ppd on subsequent purchases). Interesting and good for WA point collectors that RACWA still take Amex over the counter... I am not aware of any other merchants selling these cards accepting Amex as payment.

Anywhere in QLD they sell them in Store...I rang a few stores and they all said Online only :(

Been doing some followup work today to get these delivered FREE.
So far I have discovered:
Presidential card holders used to be able to get for $.55 regular mail or registered $3.00
On review they have taken the $0.55 option away and informed that new website only allows $3.00 option.
Say say too many complaints of not receiving em....I figure GOLD/PLAT card holders have Free insurance so $0.55 best way to go.

RACQ: On RACQ website it says *Extra postage and handling fees, BUT when you goto T&C on WW giftcard site it says FREE postage.
I have rang RACQ.....20minutes on hold after having the run around, they will ring back as the only person in the office that may have a clue with conflicting info is either at lunch or not in today :/

Edit: Received return call and definitely Free postage RACQ....buying now :) ......accept AMEX Online too!

So they took your amex card over the phone? Nice work. How long did it take and do you think you can easily replicate the process? I'm impressed and would be interested to know how to do it...

5% off fuel is a great find, amazing that some are still paying full price..., today in Adelaide a discounted wish card will save you 7.49 cents per litre, not to shabby in my opinion, when used with a voucher converted to points, its just like getting a double bonus...! Discounted fuel and some nice points at the same time

For Adelaide RAA members, there is no need for a phone call to booster member support unless you want more than $5k worth of wish cards, more than $2.5k and they will want to see some ID though...

Cheers cove, its been a year already and much has been saved, now if i can only find a use for 96 depleted plastic wish cards other than throwing them in the bin which is not good for the enviroment, perhaps we need a re-loadable wish card from the folks at the RAA...?

Had a laugh the other month with the tax refund team at the airport, apparently they quite often get people claiming the tax back on gift cards on leaving Australia, needless to say they get denied.

Lumo now have a 1.25% surcharge for Mastercard/Visa payment to buy gift cards now - so the 5% discount becomes a 3.812% discount...
What's the next best? Sign up to RACWA?

Its pretty cheap to be a member of the RAC!

I'm actually looking for discounted Coles cards this week - I may just order them from Lumo as it's quick and easy (albeit a little slow in delivery), and 3.812% is better than no discount, and then figure out something for next month's Coles order.

The entertainment book would be the go in that case assuming you can recover the cost by using the vouchers.
