Well done:!: That's excellent bossreggie.

I sorely need to lose weight. My walking average is above the 'standard objective', although emphasis is on the word average, where consistency would be much wiser.
I know how you all feel. My daily numbers vary greatly but I have to say that I do manage at least 10,000 per day with the highest at about 22.000. I should be home more over the next couple of weeks so a 'routine' should be more achievable.

Hmmm .. cmo'n team ...

There's currently 12 entries more than a day old ...

All up to date now, tried to put my missed entries in via my phone but for some reason it didn't want to co-operate with me:rolleyes:

I had a bad day over the weekend (from one lunch with friends to a dinner with other friends). It doesn't help that my wife likes to get her exercice on weekends by walking our dogs (which I do on week days). Even chasing after my daughter round the yard and trampolining with her wasn't enough to get it above 10K.

You think your numbers fluctuate, my biggest was over 29,000 but my smallest was under 1,500.

I had a look through the averages and Team Starworld has never got more than 100,000 in one day, I would like to crack 100,000 at least once in this competition.

You mean 100,000 across all 7 members of our team?

That equates to about 14,300 steps apiece. Not impossible, although hard to realise unless we endeavour to keep our step counts up to date (I do realise this is difficult when on the road).

BundyBear, similarly I am surprised with our team numbers, but whilst one knows the team total and average, as well as you own steps for that day, it is difficult to know (other than the team captain), whether all members have inputted their steps for that day.

I will crack a big day on Sunday when I walk the new Hornibrook Bridge between Sandgate and Redcliffe with the rest of my family and in-laws (it was either doing that or a round of golf, unfortunately golf lost :(). Last time I played (on a Sunday), I hit 13K steps in just the round of golf.

Also, we are running a long 2nd to Team One Alliance, some 3K steps on average over the completed time period :(.

Yes he does. Our best was Day 8 (Thursday 27th May), where we cracked 97K (and I had my PB of 20K). That was the day I flew BNE/ADL, so had a lot of walking that day (up and down BNE terminal and ADL with mini #1).

After entering in my figures from yesterday this morning, I can see that three members of our team are at least 2 weeks of steps (inputted) in arrears.

Ah, that would make sense then, as to why our step numbers (and average) is so far behind.

I hope they enter their numbers at some stage, the further on it goes, the harder it will make it.

I have to admit that I put in a whole weeks worth of steps yesterday  so that probably puts you further behind. I have started to get back toward my average of 14,000 per day.

Bundy Bear, I did my bit yesterday towards your wish - over 18K. Now let's hope the rest of the team did their bit (including you). Hope everyone has their steps up to date (because that could also give you what you need - not sure how many are behind in their step entries).

I'd also like to see our team crack the 10K average, we're now sitting at 9,680 ( :( well behind One Alliance at 12,890)

Our team has only two members now who are in deep arrears with respect to step input.

I had a very lazy day yesterday (unlike LW who went to walk the Ted Smout), however after an early dinner last night I put on my sports shoes and walked for an hour and a half to bring my step count for yesterday up to a satisfactory 11,800.

Have they lost both their pedo's?
Do they not have access to computer or mobile access
Are they not engaged in the GCC project any more?:(

Not going to ask who (name and shame), they know who they are..

Pity that I don't enjoy night walks as much as morning walks, otherwise I'd join you for any you do around our neighbourhood.

I should be putting in some pretty good figures now. I'm spending a good portion of my day either riding my bike or at the gym now, am seeing some good results in terms of fitness, step count and weight loss

I ticked past 30,000 yesterday, gotta love the school cross country, it was 9km for runners or 12km for walkers, naturally I chose the walking option as I'm not really the competitive type (and my internal organs would collapse if I ran that far:lol:).

Wouldn't you cover close to that kind of distance umpiring a football game?

Sadly no, as I don't tend to do much 'moving' when I'm umpiring football , or I get stuck on goals:-|

Josh,

Excellent and keep up the good work as I have had a few bad days lately and need the top cover :!:

Flashware, you said "should be"...shouldn't you have said "am" :D

I've been beating my average lately, so it's slowly ticking towards 12K.
