I've been beating my average lately, so it's slowly ticking towards 12K.

That makes two of us.

I'm trying to get to a daily average of 12k as well. The last few days have been promising, but it's going to be still requiring quite a slog to get to 12k.

Flashware, you said "should be"...shouldn't you have said "am" :D

Well, I well and truly put in the hard yards last night (well.. this morning ;)) walking from establishment to establishment.. :p

I've taken to walking the 2½Km home to/from the railway station each day. It's done wonders for my personal average.

In other news, Team One Alliance has reached a milestone:

I suspect i'm not keeping up as mine dropped from 15 to 14k

I am apparently on the floor and out of the office all next week so that should bump it up again

Lost one pedometer ! Just as well i had cheated and looked at the number during the afternoon!

serfty,

Thanks for posting that for us all and well done to Team One Alliance.

I was going to post the overall totals but sadly my computer skills are lacking in that regard.

Wel done Team One Alliance! With total steps of 4,160,447; Team Starworld has a bit of catching up to do. C'mon Team :D

Sunday will be another big day for me, vising the m-i-l and will be running around her big back yard with my daughter. I think we'll both sleep well that night. How about we try for that 100K mark for Bundy Bear.

I have one pedo that isn't working properly; so will be substituting it for my wife's one (measures step, has a voice and radio).

Well, I well and truly put in the hard yards last night (well.. this morning ) walking from establishment to establishment..
I hope it doesn't mean what I think you said. I hope it does that mean you've entered all your steps.

My challenge for this week is to average 20k steps per day. Can anyone remember how many steps represent KM when riding? Doing 30km on the bike each day is pretty easy.

It looks like you get 390.75 steps per KM. 5,000 steps entered along with 28km of riding came out at 15,941.

We're slowly catching you Team One Alliance!

Sunday wasn't as big as I'd hoped, only 11K; so I think we're still looking for that 100K mark for Bundy Bear.

Well, we tried.

I think Flashware and I tipped in our share - both of us racking up at least 15k each yesterday.

When does the GCC end? I know that when I first hit Europe I will be hitting up some stellar totals (think back to our days in Paris....). Hopefully I'll arrive before this ends!

We're half way through, IIRC, so don't think you'll make it.

I'm thinking to next year, where I go on 23 May for a 6 week sojourn in Europe (coming back on 2 July). Now I will crack some good step counts.

Maybe I should sign up early anat0l, then keep and use my 2010 pedo's :D

Lodging step numbers is easy through iPhone :D

My goal is to remain higher daily step average than either my team or organisation. I can certainly fit back into my old sized pants again...and I'm finding all kinds of excuses for walking places. My morning constitutional walk is now an hour and generally I start the day with 6,500 steps (then add another 1,500 running around home before heading off to work). What is the most frustrating is the 8 hours of sitting on my buttocks with little step count...

Do we get an Organisation certificate when we hit 10M total step mark?

The Carbon Offset makes me think of something altogether different ;) :D
