Ahh thank you. Makes sense.

Excuse the n00b question. But how does one do this? I have zero luck going through Qantas multi city search tool. Even as simple as local flights like SYD-CBR, CBR-MEL.
I registered on their website this morning with my QFF details - it said "you're in" (well words to that effect) but the email confirmation hasn't come through yet - this happened to anyone else?
You will be gold until Feb 2022Looking at taking advantage of this offer to re-earn my gold tier. A little confused as to how the credits apply with respect to the membership year though. I'm currently a gold with membership year expiry in Feb, I wont have enough SC's to keep gold upon expiry in a few days time. If I use the double SC offer to get back up to 700 SC's in March, I assume I will once again get gold benefits once 700 SC's drop in the account. I was wondering what then happens at Membership Year expiry in Feb 2021 as I would have over 700 SC's in the account, would it mean that I would get another year of gold out to Feb 2022?
As I read this, the double status credits count to attain Platinum one, but not for the bonus things... Yes?
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
So the base status credits apply for the loyalty bonus, but not the bonus credits???
That would require the flights to be taken in the year ending in Feb 2020. As the flights are taken in the new year starting March 2020, the full 700 would be needed. Also you will only need 600 to requalify for Gold, not 700.
Yes, no problem doing this.Has anyone previously book flights via Amex travel using a travel credit (the ones that come with the yearly card) and received the double status credits?
Is there anything similar starting in MEL or would I need to do a positioning flight somewhere before starting a run?I utilised my AMEX travel credit to book CBR-MEL-SYD-WLG-SYD-MEL-CBR in J (660 SC) for $1650 ($2.50 per SC).

Yeah, I’ve got an appointment on the Gold Coast Sunday so unfortunately I’m a couple of days earlySigh. Guess who just booked 150 points worth of flights the day before this promo?

I’m guessing that creating a new PNR of a previously booked flight by separating two passengers isn’t going to work?
I shall let you know mid April! I’m booking others to cover it just in case. The ADL - OOL route works well with minimal time away.It may do, but there's no way to say definitively..
