I am doing a status run next week from ADL-BNE-TSV return next Thursday and my HUSBAND thinks likewise !!!!!!

What did you think of the HBA lounge? Crowded as usual?

Crowded. Managed to sneak seats at someone else's table. Minimal food offerings, and the booze fridge was still padlocked.

If my work travel dropped in the future (unless I make LTG first ) I'm sure I to will do SC run's to stay at up at least SG for the lounge access
I will have to invent a story for my BH - she wouldn't believe the truth

Some notes about the flights so far: There have been no hot towels on any of the flights, but the CSM did suggest that "they will be back". I have to say a big shout out to Matthew Egan, the CSM for QF560, QF1019 and QF1020. Extremely good humoured and understood what a status run was. The loading went from 4/12 to 10/12 to 12/12 in J and he remained unflappable and efficient throughout.

Oh, and we drank the plane dry of bubbles.

Not surprising, but with double SCs, the trip generates 480 SCs. Too good to refuse.

They were looking great and not out-bubbled by any means. I guess a 4 hour hiatus in the J Lounge did them a world of good.

Lovely new 717 to Canberra but such a short fight that I got a total of 7 minutes viewing time on the iPad, and my wine was practically snatched from my hand on descent.
