Sorry Jess, I'm not sure what the PG/50K offer is. I think PG is partner gold but 50k has me baffled.

And yes, my DSC's posted and I'm in the Gold club too

Edit: Just saw PG underlined in my post to show Partner Gold
When a member reaches 2400 SCs there is a choice of benefits: 50,000 FF points, Gold FF membership for a family member or a valet parking voucher. The choice is really between Gold membership or 50,000 points. As I don't have a family member who would make use of the SG membership, I will be taking the 50,000 points when the offer comes.

I am flying to Europe next month via DXB and LHR.

Is WP much better than SG on such a trip?

As SG I get lounge access in DXB and LHR. Would WP be that much better?

You would have access to the better lounges in DXB and (on your return) LHR. If you are flying via SYD or MEL, then you also get access to the QF Flounge.

WPs get a greater range of seats to select on booking, bigger luggage allowance etc. Have a look at the different benefits on the QF FF page to work out what is of use for you.
