You do realise we will be playing 18 holes!
I'll be in the triple figures then.

Yes, but perhaps you could improve on the back nine?I am certainly going to do my best to be there, and you can be assured that for me 40 over par would be a good score!
By not using the golf clubs :?: :shock:Yes, but perhaps you could improve on the back nine?
How did it win, as according to the Poll, it received the same number of votes as Ambrose??Stroke Play it is.
I'll see what I can do - a trophy perhaps???Prizes collected to date (by me)
2 x boxes of Golf balls
If anyone wants to donate prizes, I will welcome them with open hands.
YGPM.I need confirmed numbers so, if you are playing, please MSG me with your Name, handicap (if any), email addy, phone number and if you need hire clubs or not on the day.
Also I need reassurance that there will be at least a 1-2 other very social golfers.Although i play regularly that only entrenches all my bad habits.Normally go around 40 over par but occasionally(very)get close to breaking 80-probably when all the stars are aligned.
Certainly JohnK if you are counting I had better be in another group

think of the improved value you get. You pay the same amount to play, but get a much better cost/stroke ratio than someone who goes around is parI'm a definite social hack - who has a guaranteed triple figure scorecard.
I can donate a box of golf balls or something related to golf like a free golf lesson provided by me. A more appropriate prize could be 1 box of pink golf balls or a ball retriever for the bradman of the day.Prizes collected to date (by me)

Classic! Just as well I do not drink tea or coffee. Gave me a good laugh as it reminds me of some of the bad things I go through on golf day. Last Sunday I had 2 over on the front nine including a 3 putt bogey and then collapsed with 8 over on the back nine including another two 3 putts...First round today after 3 months off.Bogey on the 1st,par on the second and then I remembered what I should do.Topped the drive on the 3rd,second shot a hook into the trees followed by a great recovery shot into the rough on the other side of the fairway. Now I feel right.
Should be a great laugh! Is it ok if I turn up just to watch? I know nothing about golf...
Great timing, will be just after I return from Europe.
Put me down as 'highly interested' for now.

You are just looking for excuses. You can easily move house the week before and still make the tournament.I may be in the process of moving house that weekend (the joys of rental accommodation is the Notice to Vacate things you sometimes get). Will know closer to the time.....
