Good News! Pyjamas on (almost) all Qantas international flights in J!

Got them on QF59 last week.
They were handed out to everyone that wanted before departure.

I must admit I love the PJs on any airline. Get changed into them straight away and hang my clothes.
Same, once the seatbelt sign is off, I get changed. It's been a while since I've seen coathangers in the loos in QF Intl J, but usually there's a spare one in the cupboard. I feel a bit weird scrabbling for one (I'm not trying to get into the crew's stuff in there!!)

It would be nice if there was an area where you could get changed into your PJs that isn't in the toilet. I think the Qantas A380 has a small curtained off space

Mind you if you are in EK F you can get changed in your seat if you're subtle

SIN-SYD (QF38) on 737 is a domestic-spec aircraft, would that flight include PJs?

QF 38 also doesn't go to SYD but MEL and runs an a330.

Are you sure you don't mean QF38 SIN - MEL and then you ended up looking at the MEL - SYD connection the next day? (That would show a 737).

Proactively offered on QF41 on May 9. SYD - CGK.

I politely declined as i had one in my carry-on and im trying to work out what to do with the spare PJs.
SYD+1 received them on QF41 the other day. I got the impression that they asked if required while doing the PDB service. Rather than the Santa Klaus down the aisle handing them out trick.

No offer of PJ's on QF43 yesterday but after dinner when asked if I needed anything, I enquired if pj's were being given out as I would like a pair for my grandson (it's ok Josh isn't on AFF!)

Young chap said he'd check with his manager, next thing, he is back with 2 pairs, a cap and a keyring!

Must say the service from the staff in J was very attentive and friendly - I think they had their hands full as J consisted of mostly all friends/family off to a wedding.
Paging @Pushka

Actually I'm curious - for those that fly J regularly, do you use them for the plane then just leave it onboard?

I have done, especially on the last leg and I've already picked some up earlier. I prefer the Qatar ones and wouldn't leave those behind but would leave the Qantas ones. Emirates now giving them out on overnight J flights but we missed out in December last year. I use them as in winter as I don't like heavy PJs and these are the perfect weight for me. But they are always huge on me.

Don't think it's a sexist issue but rather that people are simply bigger these days. So they start at medium. No small.
my last Emirates ones were small Medium and quite small

I use the QR ones as my winter pyjamas. Large is definitely large. My wife has used the medium ones which are pretty baggy. They have lasted pretty well.

I’d just like to point out how sexist these PJs are. They are all mainly designed for men with no small sizes.
Even though I don't use them, I have noticed the sizes available as they hand them out over the years.
They used to have small sizes, then they because "small/medium" and more recently just "medium".

The sizing is likely more related to the increasing average size of people traveling.

Genuinely interested as to why anyone would do this. The pyjamas are yours and if you don’t want them then give it to family or friends who would more than happily accept.

Many Australian households have at least one set of QF J pyjamas, but they aren’t necessarily worn by people who flew QF J.

I personally don’t know hardly anyone apart from those on here who has any airline pyjamas.
I reckon we have 1 set each at home and as a rule I leave them on the aircraft. They will never get used at home ever again so no point cluttering the house. Same goes for hotel and aircraft slippers
