I am trying to teach my Texan son-in-law who has just moved to Melbourne with my daughter not to go to the AFL on the weekend and root for his team. And I have warned him not to pat anyone on the fanny or to chuck his trash on the sidewalk. Drink only from a bubbler, not from a drinking fountain. To take "zee" out of his vocabulary and spelling and to put a "u" before the "r" in words he thought ended in "or".

Maybe "bubbler" is a NSW thing.
I have lived in QLD and WA (and part time in SA) and have always referred to them as drinking fountains.

I forgot to mention also teaching him greetings. How to say G'Day instead of Howr y'all
