Actually, it was one NYE a few years ago, after midnight, and I was passing said colleague in the locker room. We said the obligatory "Happy New Year" greetings, and I made the offhand comment "so, have you kissed anyone this year yet?, haha". Then she planted one on me. I was like :shock:, then . I think that was the highlight of the year.

Coming back from the USA last year I had one of the 'older' FA's tell me to ask out this one particular FA. I simply held up my wedding ring and explained that it would be one hell of an expensive date!

The ones I mentioned have fairly common names and I figured since QF must have so many FAs in many places it would be okay, however happy to modify my post if needed.

It's interesting, more and more younger FAs appear to be "popping up" at QF. That being said, I still think some older crew (on all airlines) are amazing.

Ralph Fiennes did.. Or was it role reversal.. Seat 2k, I believe, somewhere enroute over the sub continent. That was a very popular QF route for sometime.. Need some more of this type of scandal exposed.. Just to keep the 'romance" of travel alive

Well I don't think you're talking about me, whilst I (first) married a QF girl, she wasn't an FA and wasn't a stunner.

However, after her I dated a number of short- and long-haul FA's but did end up with a stunner - a QF Intl long haul FA, who was based in MEL but originally from BNE. I know I have posted photos of her before - I'm sure some of the newer members would like to feast their eyes, so I'll find and post tomorrow. Nothing like keeping you in suspense

I didn't marry her, but have her to thank for putting me in the right position to meet my wife

Stunning...nah. The odd stunner on Virgin Australia.

Never got a number, never asked either. I'm only 21, so I've probably got a few years up my sleeve on the majority of F/As.

What I do cross my fingers for every time I get on a plane solo is for that seat next to me to be occupied by a nice tall girl. So far that has yet to occur!

Actually, my across the road neighbour, a VA training captain, married an FA. She's gorgeous. No photo.

My cousin in Spokane, WA married a FA - she's gorgeous and they have a stunning 18 yo daughter. Maybe I can lift photos from FB.

Friends in PER, she's a QF FA and she's good looking. No photo.

Time to fire up the laptop and get "my FA" photo. I know she's married and had a child before I lost contact - but she also married a guy with the same surname as me, so that's as close as we'll get.

Ah, now this invokes some memories....

Mile High Club: Yes, with then girlfriend (later to be wife #1) on NRT/CNS/BNE - QF69 I think it was (no really, I'm sure it was!) - would have been 1992 or 1993

Flirting: Regularly, but the one that stands out was QF2 BKK/SYD in 1999. Boarding at the door, was greeted by a stunner (I found out later her name was Jenni) who directed me to J upstairs. During the flight meal service, her friend serving me asked whether I would go to the bottom of the steps as Jenni wanted to meet me. We chatted a couple of times during the flight and I told her that I still has SYD/BNE flight to go. Deplaned saying good-bye to her (we'd swapped details) and took the shuttle bus to the Dom Terminal. To my amazement later, whilst waiting to board my BNE flight, who should come around the corner into the Gate but Jenni and another FA (she had omitted to tell me that she was deadheading to BNE where she lived).

We went out for about 3 months before we split. Included during that time was a trip (over New Year) where I flew to MEL to meet her and then we flew one of her bids together (MEL/SIN/PER/HKG/SYD). SIN for New Year, a FA party in their hotel (oh the stories - pool party, scantily dressed female FA's, being thrown into pool etc). Was treated by the CSM as her partner during the trip [op ups to J on the final 3 flights once he knew about me being on the trip]....

Ah, yes, those were the days
