Have your say with the QFF CEO over lunch at Rockpool Bar and Grill...

I'd say this thread will quickly have a lot of traffic between now and well after the lunch, who wants to speculate on how many posts? :D

At least 21...

I'm going with 400 posts, over those posts this thread will go OT at least 3 times (this post not included) mainly with QF bashing posts, and a mod will close it, but then reopen it at least once...
I'd even be willing to bet a beer at the QP over it...

Is this an AFF only event or will these 3 'tickets' be part of an larger event?

Does it have to be Rockpool? ;) :p

Well I'll go OT.Some applicants had better hope Red Roo doesn't read their posts on the VFF threads!(insert razz smillie).

This is good by Qantas that is for sure. They are following the lead of Virgin though from their earlier offer to AFF members, you have to love what a bit of competition does, it really does benefit everyone and is great for the impartial observer such as myself to see it progress.

Indeed, what next, AFF5, QFF10, TT 20 @ Maccas.

A big thank you to Red Roo and your associates (and Qantas in general as well) for offering this opportunity to The Australian Frequent Flyer community!

Will we see you there personally as well, Red Roo? It would be great to put a name and face to a forum alias...

I'm sure they could fix you up a sandwich if you're that picky ;) :p :D Or perhaps a little pie...

Apart from free lunch and flights (of course that's not the primary purpose :D), it'd still be better odds of an audience than the status quo, i.e. 1 in a few (or eight) million. That's one way to look at it... :)

I do expect there to be photo's from the event, so we can live vicariously through the posts.

I'd try my best, though might be hard to report too much after the event due to confidentiality etc. You know what these secret lunch meetings are like... :)

The TT 20 at Maccas sounds interesting... You of course would be required to purchase your own happy meal...
Nah! Cheesburgers!

Between 12pm and 1pm the Queues at the local Maccas are out the door at them moment with the $1 cheesburgers ...

:( Yes, but we roll with the punches. It wouldn't be of any use if we happened to be at lunch and something happened on the site...just imagine the carnage when we finally surfaced?

I do expect there to be photo's from the event, so we can live vicariously through the posts.

Maybe I just fly down, invite a client to lunch there and eavesdrop :o

:D

Well everyone knows if I attend then you are guaranteed of photos being posted. :)

Interesting initiative - I'll send a PM as I couldn't make a (paid) discussion group session last month...

What a fantastic initiative. I wish I could come but predictably I'll be flying somewhere exotic with Qantas and I'm sure they are happy with that.

I look forward to hearing the 'trip report' :)

Good luck to all those who are selected. :D

I'll be thinking of you. .... and I was going to be transiting SYD that day anyway. :(

This is an initiative I would very much like to be a part of, but unfortunately I will be in the UK, delivered in J by QF and being returned by QF in F.

I hope this might be repeated some time in the future. I really would love to participate.

ooooo yes, and whilst I remember please can you announce the Platinum One stuff? I really do need to make a decision for a forthcoming trip to the US - VA or QF!!!!!

And I'll be in BKK via Jet* J. Great to see that so many of us are actually travelling on QF and its associated coys.

Look forward to reading about what actually is announced.

Thanks Red Roo :)
I will be available if I am one of the chosen few. Will send a pm when I have narrowed my shortlist.
Feels like being a kid in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory looking for that elusive golden ticket ;)

Well done Red Roo!

Unfortunately I could not take time off at this time, and I think there are lots of excellent candidates here in AFF who can really contribute!

Thanks Red Roo :)

I agree.

So many questions, so many worthy competitors ;)

This seems like a great opportunity to question and influence the future direction of the program! I'll put my thinking cap on and PM when I have 3 :)

Great idea too - shows that QF are more customer service-orientated than many give them credit for on here! :)

Fantastic idea. Three questions sent!

Thanks for the opportunity Qantas.

Cheers,
- Febs.
