@Red Roo, when will you be drawing the 10 winners? Some I am sure like me will need to take a day from work to attend (happily) but need x time to request the day off.

He posted a while back that the winners would be informed by the 6th of October, which is Thursday.

Crossing my fingers the winners are announced sooner, for the same reason, need to give as much notice as possible for a day off if required.

Red Roo mentioned that the selected ones should be notified by 6 October. That's in two days time, though it could be in the morning, afternoon or evening. And we all hope it's two days time, too.

I'm hoping that "by the 6th" means "no later than the 6th" rather than "on the 6th" :)

Tomorrow (or tonight) would be nice :p
 
I’d be happy whenever they released the names, having no firm commitments anywhere, but I doubt I’ll be chosen, and did it actually say 10 people, or 10 questions. Because at 3 questions each that could just be 4 people.

The more the merrier though I suppose.
 
Bear in mind Monday was a Public Holiday in NSW as well (QF's Social Media team, who I assume Red Roo belongs to is based in Mascot, I believe).

Plus depending on the quality and quantity of entries - it could be a hard task to pick the winners!

Hmm, I read it as each question being an entry, but I can see what you say as well. That’s a lot of questions, better have 3 courses, matched with wines :p

That could be too - but that could be ten different people as well :p

Yes, but given the nature of these things, smaller number wouldn't make much sense ( I think the numbers are probably appropriate to the what they were doing)
 
Tell us what three questions about the program you would most like to have answered and why. Your three questions must be submitted via Private Message to me by 30 September 2011 - include your QFF number also so we can contact you. We'll choose the 10 most interesting entries and you will have the opportunity to ask those (and other) questions over lunch.

The actual wording by Red Roo says 10 most interesting entries, thus it would be 10 people as a PM with 3 questions would count as an entry.
 
I agree with HarvyK - also I don't think these will be the only people attending the lunch given it is the launch of WP1...

Your questions were all pretty good so we had a hard time choosing and are looking at inviting a minimum of 10 with possibly a few extras. :)
I'll send private messages out to everyone selected some time today. Will be later rather than earlier but definitely today.

Thanks for your patience. Steph and Simon are really looking forward to meeting some of you next week.
