And inconsistent with the SIN lounge!
Inconsistent. How? There is only one Qantas lounge at SIN. No F lounge.

Perks are not restricted to WP1 and CL, they include vanilla WP.
Neither did I.My mistake. I didn't realise there were perks at SIN.
With no F shortly I guess a WP returns to QC level in QF's eyes.

OK, I could be wrong, but I thought there was trouser pressing, etc available for WP upwards.
It might be one of those unwritten benefits. Can't see anything on the details page - Lounge Locations | Singapore Changi International Airport | The Qantas Singapore Lounge - so looks like I got it wrong .

Sitting here at the moment... Underwhelmed doesn't describe it. Sat for 10 minutes in the "restaurant" waiting to be served. Nothing. Got up and poured my own wine. Sat for another 10 minutes. Nothing. Eventually flagged someone down and asked to be served the one and only available dish (which was poor). Staff are seemingly very selective with who they provide service to. Apparently a petty WP doesn't get much.
Q - If you have the acquired status - why would you go to a Non-F lounge
The SIN perks, as announced at the time of opening, were shirt pressing, shoe shining and preferential access to the showers for P1 and CL.
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
I think at both SIN and HKG, vanilla WP/OWE are left out. In LAX it looks like WP/OWE are ok for the extra perks.
FWIW, I think this is way too confusing to be correctly applied and likely to lead to disappointing experiences like mine when I entered the HKG lounge as a WP flying F and was waved in without fanfare or any special treatment.

Yes that's what I remember it being a well, though despite that sin is way better at least I can get a proper table as a WP, table service is great, live cooking station is great, bar is great you get a real buzzing feeling there. However in hkg you can barely get a table in the dining area and when you can it's only the round table. Forget about table service or any service for that matter! Only thing I saw staff doing was clearing rubbish and empty glasses, very much a 'set and forget attitude' after scanning your boarding pass.
THIS. As we were made to feel like we had taken "liberties" by sitting in the restaurant area and that he was "letting us get away with it" it left a nasty taste in our mouths. We weren't trying to push the boundaries just naturally assumed that as WP able to access the F lounge in Mel and SYd that we could partake of all offerings in a shred j/f lounge elsewhere. My DH immediately said "well, that's the last time we come in here, its the CX lounges for us from now on". It's a shame really, QF have managed to turn a positive into a negative..What is preferable service to maximise customer experience? Not having to say 'no' too many times.

+1 exactly the same. Will be back in HKG next month and it will be the CX Wing yet we will fly in and out on QF.
