How do Hilton treat you as an Elite?

Status: Diamond
Property: Hilton Malta
Rate: 97 EUR AP
Booked: Deluxe King Marina View
Received: Executive King

Received standard HHD access to the EL, but only wandered in there to check out the newspapers. Buffet for breakfast downstairs in the restaurant was fairly decent and some nice freshly squeezed OJ available. Room reminded me a bit of the Exec Rooms at Hilton Sorrento Palace - good sized bathroom.

Property: Hilton Molino Stucky Venice
Rate: 50,000 reward night (free actually after spending 750 GBP on the HH Visa but it shows as 50k point redemption)
Booked: King Guestroom
Received: Top Floor Tower Suite

Happy to have been greeted with a 'Happy Birthday', upgraded to a very nice tower suite - plenty of room and great views out of both sides of the room! Checked out the EL downstairs, has some nibbles and sandwiches during the day which is nice plus an array of drinks. Normal alcoholic drink service from 5-7pm. It looks like there may be an EL up on this floor too so will have to check out..... view from the rooftop pool is also very nice! Most impressed.

we have enjoyed the hotel a lot. Didn't realise there was a second EL.

Got an upgrade and welcome letter as silver, no water in room.

Happy with upgrade and lounge access was very unexpected after dropping status.

Update, breakfast in the restaurant was also free, rather then the $10 charge as listed on the exec lounge letter :D

I was offered a further upgrade to an executive suite for only S$60 per night but they only had availability on a smoking floor so it was politely declined.
Welcome amenities in the room included a bowl of fruits, a box of chocolates, 2 small bottles of water, a bear and a duck ;)
What I liked the most about this hotel was the excellent service. Most of my hotel stays are in Australia where service is usually mediocre at best and genuine simile is a rare commodity. But here at Conrad I felt they really make an effort to put the customer at the top of their priority list. Any request was granted with a smile. If it was a glass of wine at the lounge at 4pm or some food and drinks at 11pm even though it's closing time. Try to request something at an Australian lounge before or after serving hours and see what happens... In the morning when I called the front desk saying I don't have time for breakfast and requested a coffee to go, it was given to me by the concierge while ordering my taxi.
The level of service at this property was well beyond my expectations and that's why this very happy customer will definitely come back :)

It is a Conrad though... my experience is that the lounge will do wine/beer at any time of the day .. and spirits/champagne only during coughtail hour.

Unfortunately not all Conrads are the same.
I don't recall such a high level of service from Conrad Jupiters back in the days...

Heading here for Easter, so hope I get the same level of hospitality.

This has been my experience with all my visits late last year. Nothing is too much for the staff here and they do everything to look after you! The lounge staff went well out of their way to look after us/me on the trips.

Even though I would always get the standard one level upgrade the service/staff more than made up for it. Even though the breakfast has gone a little downhill it's still an amazing property

I do love the SIN Conrad. I'm off there again in a few weeks. Luckily, I booked as diamond and they seem to have pre-upgraded me to an executive room

I must try the Conrad next time I am in SIN although all properties in Singapore seem to be getting more expensive every trip, rather than once or twice a year.

Can you please tell me how you find out about an upgrade before you arrive? I have often pre-requested an upgrade as a Diamond but have never known the outcome until check-in. Can you find it in your booking on the HHonors site?

Perhaps QF could follow their example and then loyalty would mean something again.

It usually shows in "My Reservations" overnight (the night prior to check-in), in my experience.

Status: Gold (Well, I thought I was)
Property: Millennium Hilton Bangkok
Dates: 23-30 March 2014

Room booked: King Executive Plus Suite
Room received: King Executive Plus Suite

Rate: 7497.49 THB (inc. tax), per night (Advance Purchase Rate) ($247AUD)

1am arrival. Had requested higher floor, got Floor 11,(wonderful view anyway) upstream view. Welcome note. Free local newspaper each morning.

Discovered next morning that my recent (confirmed by Hilton email) status change from base level to Gold (Thanks VFF) was not in the system, and I would be paying 450 THB for some rather ordinary internet per day. Thanks to some good advise from members here it was eventually sorted by Hilton reservations Asia, and upon checkout all internet charges were missing from the bill.
Lounge as ever, was wonderful. Plenty of excellent food that varied each evening. Plenty of coughtails , beers and a quite acceptable red or white wine.

Breakfast (inc. tarrif) was not available in EL until the end of the week, when a large convention group moved in. Breakfast in Flow restaurant, on ground floor, as good as ever. Staff, except with my Gold status thing, very helpful.
Spa, expensive, but you get what you pay for.

We love the location, the vibe of the Millennium, and the King Executive Plus Suites are very good .

For a special treat we recommend a dinner at Le Normandie, in the Garden Wing of Mandarin Oriental. Easy to book and they will send their boat to pick you up and bring you back.

Just updated my iPad app and thought I 'd check my next booking which is at Conrad Singapore next week. Booked Classic twin on points, but now it's showing twin Exec. Premier. Sure hope it sticks :)

Staying there over Easter for the first time and looking forward to it after all the great comments here about it.:p

Rate: 49GBP AP (includes parking & breakfast)
Booked: Double Guestroom
Received: Double Deluxe

Dated hotel, but for 49 GBP didn't really expect much! Received the jar of jelly beans, jar of nuts and a drink voucher (should have been 2 as I booked for 2....), the day's newspaper was also left sitting next to the TV for reading purposes, I guess. Have just received the bill and the 30% off dinner we were told we'd get, hasn't been deducted; also the parking charge is on there, so will be a fun checkout methinks :)
