How do Hilton treat you as an Elite?

Called HH, was told 9K+ points posted and 932 QFF for $375 spend but I couldn't see it on my online account. Never had this issue before?

have had it happen before - total is accurate but stays/night/base points etc take a day more to post. you need to work on your mapmyflight

If you're around at the end of November, I have it booked so happy to show it (I'd even offer you a glass or two of champers)! I really like 930 even though the décor leaves a bit to be desired, I love the view, the size and the convenience. The ensuite bathroom is huuuuge. It must be easily the size of a standard H-CNS room and it's actually priced pretty reasonably, so I can understand them not wanting to upgrade anyone into that suite as it does get booked often.

I scored an upgrade once to this suite, for one night only. Way too large when travelling solo, but did inspire me to book it a later time when I had company.

I've never stayed at the residences, from what I've heard upgrades do occur but it's hit and miss?

I've always received good upgrades at surfers paradise as a gold, but only in the actual hotel. Have another stay in a few weeks.

Doubt it, as no Residences come with Exec access, so its a Diamond benefit (which I've heard is also only sometimes offered)

Well that's a little disappointing to hear. I guess I'll find out for sure when we get there. It's not until early December, I'll report back on it after our stay.

Property: HSYD
Booked: King Deluxe
Received: King Suite!

2 of my fav Hilton properties. HSYD - received king suite probably due to 1 night stay plus they are fully booked. Anyway, been away for 3-4 weeks and was greeted like a long lost relative.
:p Couldn't be happier with the pampering, wonder if I will get away with coffee tax tomorrow morning. Oh for those who are staying @ HSYD tomorrow, special event at EL tomorrow evening. :D

Property: Hilton Brisbane
Status: Gold
Booked: King Guestroom
Received: King Executive

Was surprised to be handed the keys to a King Exec after seeing only a King Deluxe online, as previously mentioned on this forum that Brisbane is sticking to one level upgrades for golds. So that was nice. Breakfast in main restaurant is continental only for golds (full for diamond), with $10 surcharge for upgrade, and $5 coffee tax applied.

Was a good stay, valet parking worked well and I felt well looked after.

No, better! coughtails hosted by ZETA bar.:D With average price of $20-30/coughtail, you could almost drink your stay's worth. Kinda annoyed I'm not staying tomorrow.

heaps better!!

And..... the coughtails by Zeta Bar. To be honest I had no idea what was going on until I just read Aeolus post. They had me all confused with the table service bellinis and martinis
Useless at taking pics but here is one of the shots available , a Vokda Sunrise

They also had a pretty nice retro cheese fondue.

Should also mention that my upgraded room was showing on OLCI at around midday and the room and floor (39) stuck.
Feeling the love at HSYD, another three stays in the next three weeks so fingers crossed :)

No executive lounge but the two hours of free drinks each night is still good. Amazing staff, one of the best hiltons I have stayed at.

I stupidly forgot to check the price of laundry though.... $300aud later! I can go down the street and the charge is $1 a kilo!

Did you ask them for the washing machine you just bought?
