How do Hilton treat you as an Elite?

Could anyone PM me if they see Hilton Sydney midweek for $200 or less for anytime after May 7th?
I stay up weekly but can never track down cheap deals....would like to retain diamond but when paying myself stick to Travelodge or airbnb 

Thanks in advance

You probably know this already but start checking 5-6 days out. I stayed on Friday and it dropped ~$200. Also, the app makes it really easy to change your reservation as the price drops. I changed in the four days leading up to Friday - from $259 to $249 to $235 and finally to $215. Someone on flyertalk waited until Friday morning and paid $209 along with a better upgrade than I received!

Thanks, if I have fully cancellable Travelodge I think it is 48 hours out, and with airbnb usually not at all, so maybe the 3 days out I can try.

HSYD-chances of rates dropping to low $200's mid week is very slim. If the rates are hovering around high $300's up to the night before the check-in date, you'll probably see the rate dropping to $253 the next day. That would be one of the lowest rate for mid week but not many people can book on the day itself due to the standard 1 day notice for cancellation for most hotels. I've been in this situation a few times.

Great upgrades. I really like this hotel. They really looked after me in a time of need. Although small, the EL offerings are pretty decent and the view from the bar by the pool is amazing at sunset.

Wow! Thats an unbelievably good rate.

I haven't looked at NAN as a destination for years because traditionally I felt that the Hilton there was massively overpriced. I'm going to have to look again, I do remember reading that the Hilton had changed management and now note that there is a DT available.

Thanks for posting.

Property: Hilton Perth
Status: Diamond

Rate: Honors Discount $123.19, Honors Adv Purchase $203.25 and Honors Adv Purchase $221.58
Booked Room Type: Queen Hilton Guest room

Got three vouchers for the bar in lieu of executive lounge - so tapas and free drinks it is tomorrow night.

Two waters in room and I got a bag of two more at reception. I've also had the following plate in my room both nights so far (probably due to the fact all 3 nights were separate bookings)

Very pleased I contacted the Asst FOM who knows me to ensure I got my preferred Queen Suite.

Nice to see some positive changes there. Full breakie was not offered to diamond a few years back, neither were drink vouchers. Our impression of this place back then, was a lovely hotel, badly let down by blasé and uninterested staff. How were the staff for you? Hopefully a new manager has come in and sent a few rockets up their Khyber pass!

What's with the tomato's? Is that a "seasons special" info card, or did they give you a little gift of tomato seeds for the home garden?

IIRC they always have a "in season" fruit or veggie at the Parmelia Hilton. The cards come with the Amenity and there's usually at least a part of the food that's made from it.

Good rates. Last 2 trips to PER, I couldn't even get in as they were fully booked. By the way, the slice looked a bit like weetbix. :) What is it?

Princess Fiona was spot on. The chutney/relish is a tomato one on the welcome gift. .I've also struck the mother lode on how to get one every night of my stay - confirmed by my friendly Asst FOM

I opted for the Dessert tonight. I'm not much into Vodka

Check out the Hilton Promotions thread - sorry can't post link using my iPhone - will add it when I'm back in my room

Tomato and cheese scone - a little dry, but delicious with the chutney

From memory, it's currently a 35% discount ... unless that's finished. Pretty good rates all round from the properties I looked at.

Yes it was 35% and it has finished now. I managed to save $530 on a 5 night stay next month at H-NOU and got H-BNE for $142 the night before and after the trip

I have a non-refundable booking for H-NOU in November and fear I should have waited for a sale. 18500pn. May I ask what you paid?

I've been keeping a close eye on pricing for Hilton Seychelles early booking. This past weekend they had a flash sales and prices went up 10 - 15 %. Very strange. All back to normal again now.
