How do Hilton treat you as an Elite?

I have a non-refundable booking for H-NOU in November and fear I should have waited for a sale. 18500pn. May I ask what you paid?
Originally had a Deluxe 1 bedroom apartment with ocean view booked at the Hilton Honors discount rate of XPF23800 (approx. AUD$332) per night, changed booking is same room type on the Member Flash rate of XPF16250 (approx. AUD$227) per night. As you can see on a 5 night stay that is a healthy savings.
I never do a non-refundable booking that far out as I prefer to do a changeable booking and then go in every couple of days and check for any price changes and then I am able to lock the price if and when there is a special

Princess Fiona was spot on. The chutney/relish is a tomato one on the welcome gift. .I've also struck the mother lode on how to get one every night of my stay - confirmed by my friendly Asst FOM

I opted for the Dessert tonight. I'm not much into Vodka

Sydney Hilton has the same ingredient of the month. They where serving some coughtails based on tomatoes but that is not to my taste so just stuck to Baileys.

Property: HSW
Status: Diamond
Date: 29-31 March 2017
Booked: King Room
Received 2Br Suite 19[SUP]th[/SUP] Floor

Currently in the lounge, on my third G and T.

Possibly my last stay before the change. At Checkin the agent specifically asked if I had any future bookings, telling me that Pan Pacific will honour Hilton Benefits.

I was also told that a booking made before the changeover for some time in June would also have Hilton benefits honoured.

Hotel: Hilton Sydney
Date: Sunday 26th March 1 Night
Booked: Guestroom Plus
Rate: Points & Pay
Received: King Junior Suite

Using the new Points & Pay option made for a cheap stay especially as I earned 4500pts on the pay option including the bonus points. Upgrade was showing the day before which was nice as I was not expecting mutch of an upgrade considering the rate I paid but being a quiet sunday night helps. This was my third stay in a Junior Suite and this one was on the eastern end of the building which has alot better views including the heads.

My partner got to some of the chocolates before I could get my phone out for a photo.

Was the chocs for Milestone/special occassion stay? By the way, do you find the shower in the junior suite annoying? I much prefer the showers in the relaxation room/suite and king suites. Going to be there this weekend and at super cheap rates. Wondering if I'll end up visiting the dog box as I haven't been sent there for a very long while and the cheap rate might just trigger it. :-|

No card came with them. My only thought was I did do online checkin the day before into room 3325 and when I arrived at just after 4pm I had been moved to the opposite end of the building. I did have to wait about 10mins for the room to be checked before getting the room key but that could have been to deliver the strawberries.

I prefer the shower in the junior suite, plus the one switch for all the blinds next to the bed. The lounge also is a vast improvement over the relax. room ans suite. Although you cannot watch TV in bed.

The room rate used to make a difference but this stay was cheaper( points only would have been 25 000) than I would pay at a DT. The lounge was not overly busy so there most likely was not alot of other regulars to compete with, plus I only ever stay one night. Although I must admit I did feel a little uneasy with the upgrade and strawberries for the room rate I paid but then it does show they will upgrade the regulars if a room is available and not just base it on the amount you paid.

Rate: Prepaid non-refundable
Booked: King Hilton Deluxe (entry level)
Received: King Lifestyle Suite

Upgrade was confirmed and showing on the app a few days before the stay. The suite felt massive to us at 72sqm with the huge walk in closet and exceptional rain shower. Since we were travelling on leisure the extra space and access to the Exec Lounge definitely added to our enjoyment of the trip.

Booked: King Hilton
Received: King Executive Hilton

Upgrade showed on the app a few days before checkin, on arrival at the hotel I politely asked about any further upgrades, but was told that the hotel was full - I didn't check the website but the associate proactively showed me his monitor display that showed no rooms available. Again, the upgrade was much appreciated.

Wow! Thats an unbelievably good rate.

I haven't looked at NAN as a destination for years because traditionally I felt that the Hilton there was massively overpriced. I'm going to have to look again, I do remember reading that the Hilton had changed management and now note that there is a DT available.

Thanks for posting.

I highly recommend the DT. ( I have lots more pics if you need them)

Excellent property, staff and GM.

Last Saturday night during earth hour they had a big dance party on the beach including 10 bonfires.

Well that all sucks. Although I do love their breakfast.

(Useless contribution, I know)

But...

DM= Diamond? So...

Formula information letter provided?
Executive Lounge access?
Choice of breakfast locations - full buffet downstairs or continental in the EL (lounge has a not bad coffee machine)?

I've sometimes gone downstairs and then finished with a coffee in the EL.

Paid more than I usually do for this property, can't remember why as the booking was made 11 months ago. Always a good stay here though, breakfast buffet is one of the better ones and the pool area is decent. Exec Lounge staff is great and very helpful, as a Diamond I receive an email before each stay asking for any special requests, transfer from CGK etc. Drinks and canapes in the Exec Lounge are good: an array of small bites but freshly prepared and a decent enough range of options. Small selection of spirits but a workable white and red wine on offer.

Back in a few weeks on a status run. Got a better rate for that 2-night stay, approx 1,100,000 IDR/night.

I do the same. Haven't stayed there for 18 months or so though, is the juicer still available in the Exec Lounge? A glass of real OJ in the mornings is a good way to start the day (after coffee of course).

Yes it is. The EL has a decent continental breakfast. There's no hot food apart from hard-boiled eggs.

I was under the assumption they had to have two hot options in the lounge.

Not 2 weeks ago. With 30 mins before the end of breakfast time. They do call it "continental" and I'd say it's a very substantial continental offering.

Citi US credit card is offering 5 times the AA Miles than usual if I register and stay at a Hilton group hotel worldwide. Have not been wowed by Hilton as most of their places seem a bit ordinary. Am I wrong?
