How many AFFers will be on the first JQ787 commercial service MEL OOL Nov 13?

After a quick phone call, tomorrow mornings plans are back on track...

QF413 SYD-MEL @ 7:45am was cancelled just after 8pm (I would say due to the light load and 3 other
services just prior to, or after @ 7:00, 7:30, 8:00am).

Given I have a preference for twin aisle aircraft I ruled the 738 7:30am service out...

So 1A will have to suffice on the QF409 7:00am flight... :-)

Happy days...

Were in the 4:55pm back to Mel so there should be plenty of time for lunch then drinks ... Won't you be celebrating your engagement ???

Im on the 3.30; didn't think far enough ahead at the time... I guess I can celebrate the engagement on board :p

Hi all, I know I'm rather late to the discussion but I'm also flying the return tomorrow.

Is anyone meeting up before in the morning? Or during the turn at OOL?

I'm in 38J & 46J (down the back).

Hopefully I get to meet a couple of you tomorrow.

Prior to the flight up to OOL is everyone just going to congregate at the departure gate (I assume if there are any festivities that is where they will be) or hanging out in the Lounge... Actually, I never really thought about it, JQ fly from the same terminal right? lol... So used to T2 and T3 here in SYD.

If the lounge is an option I can guest x2 into the J lounge

I figured it'd be more interesting at the gate

Trust that everyone onboard the inaugural JQ Dreamliner flight tomorrow has a blast, & look forward to reading the low down of your thoughts of how the JQ Dreamliner ranks in terms of the comfort & aesthetics factor.

No doubt the hard core AFF 'ers on here will have a story or two to share!

Looks like they are getting plenty of them so I guess if you miss this flight there will be plenty of opportunity in the future.

I arrive at OOL on a VA flight at 10.50am so will watch the JQ flight land from the VA lounge. Can guest 2 if anyone needs it - jetlagger, trippin-the- rift? If so, PM your mobile number.
