 I'm just a babe in the woods here. I'm sitting on 690 SCs and expiry is 30th of this month. Last year I got to approx 750, and a lot of that was from a RTW trip. Next year I expect to do about the same level of SCs.
I make 3 or 4 return trips a year to Asia (SIN, KUL, HKG) in J, and approx 2 domestic flights per month which are mainly SYD-MEL, SYD-BNE and usually one each year to PER, ADL, and TSV.
All travel is for work. I can decide the class of travel but the higher my branch's annual expenses the lower is my bonus, so I tend to follow our US head office's policy of flying economy for flights of up to 3 hours and business for anything longer.
When flying to PER or TSV, I will often fly out on the cheapest fare I can find and pay full J fare for the return. This ends up being not a lot more than paying full economy both ways, and given that the return leg is often after hours I feel that the company owes me a better class of travel!
If I was away any more than I am now, my family (Mrs YY and the 3 kids) would be unimpressed, and in any case I don't want to miss any more of them than I already do.
